I'm usually not a fab of this type of fanfic but so far it seems really interesting and well written. I hope the wait for chapter one won't be to long.

Interesting... I definitely was starting to get a Boy and His Dog vibe from the society here talking about genetics and such. Thank God though that poor Knight didn't end up "milked" at some point, I was really getting anxious when I saw that chair that Dr. Shimmer led him to. Oof…
Also, "Mal" and "Pinkie" and "Maud"? A lot of very familiar characters in this installment. Hmm...

Thats the first time ive smiled in a while. A Boy and his Dog was always one of my favorite movies and novels!
Yes there certainly is a similarity in the reproduction programs of both socities. I hadn't considered that intially but now i see it. :)
Theres alot of tongue in cheek references but ive always enjoyed seeing characters i know and love in What If situations as this. The entire concept isnt a direct copy of what our friends in Equestrian City are watching but you should be able to read these episodes and get a general idea of whats what.
The entire mentality of an overly contrived drama generated by a series of coincidences always makes me chuckle in modern entertainment. Maybe im just seeing it more now that im older. But that will be one of the main things i vent out into the wilderness with this series.
That and my love for fallout. I couldnt just do a fallout though sadly it seems several factions already lay claim to fallout equestria and fallout equestria girls. So i made my own take that will hopefully work out :)

Dr. SHIMMER started out as Sunset but much older. However to avoid confusion I rewrote the original parts to refer to her as Dr. SHIMMER. She could be Sunsets daughter. Could be sunset. Still up in the air.
But this gen3 synth looks like good ol sunset we know and love n.n

Okay, this was interesting. The myriad references to Fallout 76 are interesting, even though I keep wondering about all the various counterparts to the EG characters here. XD Twilight, Dash, TWO Sunsets... okay, when are we gonna see post-apocalyptic Pinkie (or Pinkamena) or Applejack? XD

I can tell you’ve never read Fallout: Equestria, not that there’s anything wrong with that. However, let me lay down some little things.
1. Fallout: Equestria is based off Fallout 3, and several FO:E fanfics are based off the story and not any specific Fallout games.
2. Fallout: Equestria was written and edited by one person, Kkat. It was not done by a team.
3. It’s a stand-alone story, there’s no sequels or prequels. It’s also a book, and not a website or something.
4. Fallout: Equestria also involves all of the Mane 6, though in a very different way than you have done.
Like I said, there’s nothing wrong with not reading the story yet, but just for future reference.

I really liked the use of flashbacks in this chapter. Great way of intertwining the Pre-War era with the Nuka-World setting. I also laughed at the one flashback mentioning "Abbott and Costello". XD

Holy crap, there was a lot going on in this chapter. I'm still in shock over the revelation of who (or perhaps, *what* might be a better term?) Dr. Shimmer reports to. Wow...
And also, excellent work in fleshing out Mal in these flashbacks and other scenes. I just keep getting more invested.

Mal became a bit of a project in this world. It was clear he couldn't be a typical mustache twirling villain. He was more of a victim of his environment and just rolled alot of crappy to hit checks in his life. The entire idea that someone inadvertently GOT immortality / longevity and wasn't interested in it was fun to mess with.
My Directorate is a bit of an homage to the Big MT in Fallout NV cobbled with the immoral ethics that were ramped in the old world. So it should be fun to explain that when the time comes!
It's going to be quite interesting to see what happens with Twilight and Spike now! Stay tuned!

Yeah, apologies for the delay on my end. Between my own laziness and a bunch of stories I've been catching up on, this one just got kinda lost in the shuffle.
Well, as I said previously, I like the way you've handled Mal in this story. So I'm definitely invested to see what happens to him next!
I definitely saw the parallels between the Big MT and the Directorate here. I'll definitely be on tenterhooks to find out what the ultimate nature of TIA, LUNA, CINCH and such are. They're not as obviously crazy as the Think Tank, which is both good and bad. Good because they're not just spinning ridiculous experiments for shits and giggles, and bad because they're all the more dangerous for that.

This was very interesting of a chapter
I'm sorry it took me this long to catch up on this chapter. I really enjoyed it! Some typos here and there, but still, a lot of fun. Didn't expect to see Mal run into Babs Seed in this installment, that was a cool surprise!
Also, the toilet paper stock was very funny. XD
