Uhh... What? I mean, excellently well written, but wow am I confused. So many damn time jumps, and in the first chapter as well! A little bit alienating, if I had to be honest. But I do have the feeling that this will be solved sooner or later, with some parts of the story beginning to make sense as it goes along.

Those were the only mistakes I noticed. As for the duel itself, what in the actual fuck was going on in that entire sequence what. Otherwise, well written, well described, and nice action all throughout. The duel was rather short though, lasting only... what was it, 3 turns? Fine for a quick game and something to warm up with, but in the future, try to extend your duels at least past 5 turns. Even in a good comic book with high action, even if the opponent has realistically no chance against the hero, the fight will still extend several more pages, as it makes the fight more entertaining. This was certainly fine for a second duel that was only to take 1 chapter, but later in the story, having a longer duel with more suspense and more action strewn throughout would make for better writing and story telling. Just what I think, anyways. Nice chapter all around, if short.

One more thing I forgot to say, its a little unclear as to whether or not the ponies in this fic are anthro. By the tags, I would assume no, but by how dueling works, I'm inclined to say yes that they are anthro, since hooves holding cards makes little sense compared to hands holding them.

oh dear lord, I hope they aren't plot relevant. 4 times out of 5 that leads to overcomplicating the story, and the collabs tend to be lukewarm at best when they're advancing the plot. The absolute worst are when the crossover chapters are posted on the other author's story and have plot elements in them that you'd NEED to read the other story to understand.
