The Mysterious Manx-Do-Well,
Part 2
[ Back lots of Ponyville]
“......P Pinkie!??!” Rainbow Dash gasped staring down at the de-masked Mare-Do -Well.” Wha huh!?”
Looking up at the sound of a swishing cape, Rainbow Dash spotted another Mare-Do Well approaching, this one stopped and pulled up her hood revealing a lavender unicorn beneath.
“TWILIGHT!?!” Dash stammered. Before the pegasus could recover however another Mare-do well walked around from an adjoining ally, pulling back her mask showing an orange farm pony.
“APPLEJACK!?” Rainbow Dash demanded her eyes wide. “There were three of you?”
“Yep, we all played Mare-do-Well at different times.” Twilight bragged, taking off her costume.
“Ah stopped tha carriage.” Applejack smirked, putting on her usual hat and setting the mask and hat in a pile.
“I save the construction workers with my Pinkie sense. “Pinkie Pie beamed.” And I now know if my left nostril has a sneezy twitch some pony's gonna angrily tackle me..... either that or it's allergies.”
“And I used my magic to fix the damn.” Twilight added showing off by floating her hat around.
“Ooh, OOOh, “Fluttershy zipped in. “And I did the fly by afterwards.”
“And I made the costumes of course. Fabulous if I do say so myself.” Rarity crowed as she strode up.
Dash looked at them all, her ears flat to her head. Rahs was even there standing behind the others leaning against the wall of a building looking annoyed about something.
“I don't understand.... why?”Dash demanded.” Why try and stop me from being a hero?”
“Of course we want you to be a hero........” Twilight stated.
“But a real hero doesn't brag...” Applejack continued.
Rainbow Dash was silent for a moment. Slowly blinking in confusion as she regarded her actions. She had to admit she let it go to her head more than a little at times. Still she was silent until the truth of what had happened finally sunk in.
There was a loud audible snap that echoed down the back street.
“YOU PLUCKING ASSHOLES!” Rainbow Dash shrieked, her ears flattened to her head as she ground her teeth together.
“What?” Twilight stammered.
“You went through all that! Nearly killed me three times ,by cutting me off while I was flying or not stepping in sooner to help, because you wanted to teach me a lesson!?!? AND THEN YOU BRAG ABOUT THE PARTS YOU PLAYED,THEN TURN AROUND AND SAID I BRAGGED TO MUCH!?”
Dash was nearly frothing at the mouth at this point.
“Of all the two faced, dog shit, things... WHO BUCKING CARES IF I WAS BRAGGING. I WAS STILL SAVEING PONIES!” Rainbow Dash screamed. “ I saved the filly in the well, I saved the old ponies from falling, and I save the foal in the carriage. I saved Rahs and the Wonderbolts from falling to their deaths. I went out there to save Rahs when he was dog napped. I took part in saving Equestria not once, but twice from Nightmare Moon and Discord. I helped with the parasprite attack and all the other monster of the week bullshit. For what!? NOTHING!”
The five mares glanced to each other then back at Rainbow Dash who was working up a new head of steam.
“I finally start to get a little praise, some ponies, most of who were fans of me already, start cheering me on after I do some good over the course of a week and what happened? You all try to drag me back down.” Rainbow Dash fumed.” BUCK! Applejack makes a herd of cows turn to the left a little and she gets a trophy and a celebration. What do I get for what I did, a big fat nothing until Princess Celestia gave us that ceremony. So I got a big head for FINALLY getting recognized for something I did and what happens? You decide it's too much and rather than say anything about it, or actually come talk to me you come up with this crap, then set out, to not only steal my thunder, but make me look worse by egging me on into some sort of hero contest!?”
“We were trying to take yah down a peg a fore yah got too wrapped up and got some one hurt.....” Applejack started.
“SHUT UP! You shut the Tartarus up Applejack. After that shit you pulled with you ego during apple buck season, you of all ponies don't have a hoof to stand on. Plus if that was the only thing you were trying to do then you wouldn't have bragged about how awesome and skilled Mare-Do-Well was at that party, when you knew I was already having issues with it.” Dash snapped, tears welling in her eyes. “ You've seen how freaked out I get over my image in the past and here you were ignoring that and driving it into the dirt just so you could smugly claim to be helping me when this all came to a head?!? Well news flash, it took FOUR of you to be better than me!”
Rahs blinked, watching this all go on. His ears perked, as he hadn't quite expected this level of explosion, Dash must have been bottling this up for a while, either that or this triggered her. Still he was ready to get involved if Dash attacked any of them. They were stupid , but he didn't want to see them hurt.
“You know what?! Buck all of you! I don't need to be around ponies who back stab me in the back claiming trying to teach me a lesson I don't even bucking need!” Rainbow Dash slid her hoof up into the fur around her neck giving a sharp tug as she pulled something off, the chain falling loose before she even pulled, clearly broken already. With a quick flick of her leg, Twilight was slapped in the face by something small and metal and forced back a step as the object bounced to the ground.
Rainbow Dash offered a last growl and glare at the lot of them before shooting off into the air leaving a puff of dust and ripping holes through several clouds above them as she tore through the sky.
Twilight and the others stared after the retreating form of their friend. The purple unicorn's gaze dropped down to what she had been hit with, taking note of the golden necklace with the broken chain laying in the dirt before her. A necklace that held the Element of Loyalty, the gem in it gray and lifeless as it lay in the soil.
“Well don't that beat all. I didn't figure she'd get this mad.” Applejack muttered.
“I honestly thought she was going to take a swing at you there.” Rarity glanced to Applejack.
Pinkie Pie simply sat off to the side a sad look on her face with her hair deflated and Fluttershy whimpering behind her.
“What.... what happened?” Twilight stammered. “It shouldn't have gone like this....”
“Congratulations purple Celestia, your super complex plan backfired spectacularly and drove off some pony close to you, sounds pretty familiar actually....”
The five of them froze and turned to look back as Rahs pushed off the wall behind them glowering down at them with a mix of anger and disappointment on his face.
Applejack blinked about to say something though a sharp glare from the amber eyed Sparkle sibling shut her up, the Moon Dog clearly wasn't done being pissed off.
“..... I warned you about this. I told you it was a stupid plan. Hey here's an idea for deflating an ego, lets make her look like a fool. That will go over real well.............” Rahs continued, those who didn't understand Moon Dog were greatly surprised, as this was the most they had ever heard Rahs speak Equestrian. “I promised you that I would let you deal with this Twi because she was more your friend than mine, Element's of Harmony and all that, I should have ignored the promise and stopped this. That was my mistake in this cess pit of a plan.......”
Rahs walked between the group gathering up the Mare-Do-Well costumes with a low growl as he continued the rant. “She was right, she is a hero, she saved a number of lives before you started this nonsense, and your show boating led to more ponies being in danger than they should have been with just her bragging...”
Rahs leaned down glaring in his sister's face.
“How does it feel to tell some one else 'this is for your own good'?” Rahs snarled as Twilight winced. Once he had all the costume parts not being worn gathered up he reached down picking up the Element of Loyalty, tucking it into a pocket before walking away from the group.
“Not only does Equestria not have the Element's of Harmony for protection any more thanks to this, but you've set up a super hero that has a lot of fans who are going to be crushed when they find out their new favorite hero was a joke. Including Spike, Applebloom, Sweetiebelle, Scootaloo and a whole bunch of other fillies and colts in town and every where else that heard about Mare-Do-Well this week. So for my part in this mess, I'm going to fix that part. As for you five.”Rahs pointed into the air where Dash had vanished. “I hope you know what to do.”
“Rahs wait a moment.....” Twilight asked as Rahs walked past them.
“Bork!” Rahs snapped continuing to walk off, the three who could understand him all winced at the bite in his tone with that last bark.
[ That night, Golden Oaks Library.]
Twilight stared at the door, Rahs had yet to come back. She didn't expect him to, he had gone to Canterlot, likely to hang out at the Celestial theater. He had a habit of doing that when the pair of them fought seriously and he didn't want to deal with her.
She had a few choice words for her brother, but the more she thought about it the more her temper died out.
He was right of course. But he didn't have to go off like that on every pony...... oh wait... that was a big dramatic rant, of course he had to go off like that.
Twilight sighed, no one had seen Rainbow Dash either, she had moved her cloud home even higher into the air away from the ground so it was lost in the collection of larger clouds in the sky.
Spike was still pretty much clueless as to what was going on, though Twilight heard him and the Crusaders talking about Mare-do-Well with a number of their classmates before they went home.
Rainbow Dash had been brushed aside by Mare-Do-Well simply due to the fact she was a known local. Mare-Do-Well was a mysterious heroic figure, closer to their super hero comics than Rainbow Dash had been. So the mystery and excitement over a costumed hero was going to be slow to die down.
The worst part of it was Rahs was right to try and talk her out of it, she had done all this just for a 'for your own good' speech that backfired as badly on Rainbow Dash as it would have if some one used it on her. Rahs' last shout at her calling her a hypocrite was pretty spot on.
Twilight pulled out a bit of paper and a quill looking down at it with a sigh. Was this how her mother felt after that one birthday? It was that long ago and it was still having an effect on her life and how she viewed her parents.
How long was Rainbow Dash going to be mad at them?
She couldn't talk to Rainbow Dash at the moment, the mare wanted nothing to do with any of them and likely wouldn't for a while.
Still Twilight had a letter to write to some one else who probably knew how she felt right now.
“Dear Princess Celestia..... I screwed up.....” Twilight muttered as she wrote.
Good Chapter
good chapter, i hope twilight letter ask the princess how long it take ot be forgive for when you screw up major, only for the princess to replay, "you tell me i still wait for you to forgive me for all the time i screw up, or ask your mother she still pay for time she screw up?"
I dunno... I think you may have gone TOO far in the opposite direction with this. Loyalty once broken is NEVER the same, no matter what, and this pretty much cripples the Elements of Harmony.
9261491
to be fair the Elements were never really used again in the series any way
Neato
9261497
Well, they WERE, but not as the stones.
9261497
…you might want to watch seasons 6, 7, and 8. Especially the season 7 finale.
And in season 3 when Discord is released from his stone prison to be redeemed. Among the other times when the elements were used without the necklaces. (Rainbow Power for instance).
9261491
There is a difference between Trust (which is what you are talking about) and Loyalty.
Trust is a firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.
Rainbow Dash trusted her friends, and that trust was not returned in kind. That is what was primarily broken and even when it is repaired, will never be the same.
Loyalty is being faithful to any leader, party, or cause, or to any person or thing conceived as deserving fidelity.
Rainbow Dash is still the element of loyalty, and she is showcasing it in its purest form. By breaking Rainbow's trust, her friends proved their friendship is not deserving of fidelity. Or of being somepony to rely on.
Earning back Rainbow's trust isn't going to be a case where everypony says they're sorry and automatically be best friends again. Owning up to the mistake will be the first step to mending the friendship, but there are many steps after that. Which I have a feeling is going to be a lesson Twilight and company are going to learn the hard way.
9261491
Whose Loyalty was broken? The girls certainly lost Dash's, but she's still loyal to those that don't betray her, I'd say.
Anyway, the girls - specially sparkle - fucked up big time now. Let's see how they try and redeem themselves.
Will the next chapter have Spike and the town reactions to Mare Do Well reveal?
also remember a fic based off the episode, where everypony made fun of Dash during it and put her down, till she quit and was ready to leave.
Celestia comforted her as she expressed how awful and hurt she felt, not just what her friends did, but how the towns folk threw jabs at her.
Sure it only jabs like a bug bite, but a dozens and dozens more still pile up up till you reached a breaking point.
While it didn't happen in the episode the jabs and such, it could easily been put in the story or episode.
Considering they aren't needed until they put them back on the tree (which, I might add, Rainbow isn't really needed for), I'd say they have time.
Some friendship lesson need to learn the hard way. One of the certain obstacle Twilight has to overcome in order to become a true Princess of Friendship.
Good rewrite of a shitty original, Rahs chewing out the Mane 5 was, simply, BUCKING GLORIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pride
The message wasn't talking about villains.
It was talking about regular events as well.
9261531
But would a greyed out element work?
9261584
Of course. It just lost its connection to Rainbow, not its power.
So, it lost its bearer and is going dormant again. That’s fan-freaking-tastic.
Meh. Skipped the chance for Twilight to chew her friends out because they are idiots thanks to the altered set of events only to let Rainbow Dash have such a moment instead. I'll be looking forward to when Twilight is allowed to do this after the wedding fiasco.
..... I can't say I didn't expect this. And it was as satisfying as I expected it to be.
9261497
Wrong.
That was a savage burn by both Ranbow Dash and Rahs. Twilight and the others are going to need more than a few senzu beans for that.
Bit of both probably
That it does... not suprisingly really, since she was basically raised by the mare
.... There is not enough water, senzu beans and aloe vera in the world for that burn
Well on the plus side, this might improve Twilight's relationship with her parents
Personal opinion is:
Yes she did go a little overbord and her bragging got a little annoying after a while, but the only time she really went to far was when she wasted a few extra seconds to save that mare who was crashing with her ballon.
Even if she probably would have been able to save her with no problem she still let the mare fall for a few extra seconds and feel that fear and increased the risk of not being able to save her, just so could sign a few autographs and then didn't even take the rescue seriously
Yeah, the Mare-Do-Well and Trixie episodes are widely regarded as the worst episodes precisely because the mane six are acting like bullies during them. I've seen a lot of more-realistic takes on how those episodes should have gone on this site.
Whenever this episode comes up in fanfic form I know three things. I'll either really like it or feel meh or disappointed. I'm surprised you kept it in this form at all, since you've shown Twilight to be fairly intelligent in this series of stories, shown how she dislikes elaborate plans being used on herself and you didn't bother with Lesson Zero and just had a fun slice of life story chapter. I'd have thought you would do something else, like using the Mare-Do-Well superhero identity in some fun or creative manner, like maybe a pony gets inspired by RD and becomes Mare-Do-Well without Twilight or co knowing? So more like Kick-Ass in that regard, heroes inspiring heroes. *Shrug* RD can still get obsessed with finding out who this is of course. I dunno, I just feel like the big blow up at her friends angle has been done a lot in other stories, that people build fanfics around the episode.
Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle... you deserved this.
TDR, well done.
Huh my prediction of the obvious conclusion to this event was correct in both paths to some degree at least. Instead of a strain given the grayed out dormant element of Loyalty it's closer to a broken friendship than strained. Most likely had the necklace/element shattered THEN it would certainly be broken but this could eventually be fixed with a LOT of effort on the 5's part and Rainbow actually accepting the apologizes and the efforts made to rebuild. Can't try to rebuild a connection between people/ponies from one side after all RD needs to put in some effort as well even if it's only forgiving and acceptance. On the other path Rahs did chew them out and compare Twilight's actions to Rainbow Dash to the same that Celestia did to her and expected that the reveal of RD's friends being the 'hero' would instead cause RD to become more humble and think she was in the wrong for being a braggart(rightfully earned if a bit excessive at times) rather than the more likely conclusion of a similar rage towards them that she had to Celestia.
9261569
I agree, the rest of the girls needed that chewing out by Rainbow.
This only makes me wonder what kind of blow up Twi might/could have once the Wedding episodes starts, since she did get chewed out and kicked to the curb by both her brothers and her friends and mentor.
Needless to say, both the Mare do Well and the Trixie episodes are where they weren't handled the best of ways, (Though you've handled Trixie's better) though RD did have the episode about her pride blinding her.
well this is an ending expected yet I was still surprised at the blowup and the utter smackdown by rahs... the chapter was good nonetheless
omfg, THANK YOU TDR!
I can't say that enough times in bold enough text. Rainbow's reaction was as it should have been all along. When I first saw where you were headed with this episode, I was reminded of another story where Rainbow has the same reaction and actually breaks the Element of Loyalty, leaves the Mane 6 for good and goes off and becomes a Shadowbolt under Luna's command. Don't remember the name of it, but it was a good one.
As for this story, it'll be interesting to see how the group recovers from this because as others have said already, loyalty and trust will never fully mend once broken. Especially as badly as it was here.
No determinable reason? Well, I be lawyer of the Devil here and say in that episode Rainbow deserves that treatment. Save lives? Like live of foal that she toss to their mother with out double checking if she caught them or not? Or all is bragging or stalling she did when lives were at stakes.
You my say it was different in TGaP, but like in previous chapters that what wasn't written in chapter or mentioned in it is play out as similar to the show as possible.
I not against criticism of rest mane six, but I like it more with out hypocrisy. If judge something/someone judge them by same standards. I understand why you went that route in TGaP universe as it easiest way to put Twilight in Celestia's shoes. I don't mind that she will seek Rainbows forgiveness. But it will play out better with rest of mane six still be at Rainbow throat. Especially with how you structure your story.
Like this: Rarity saying that she didn't brag about how she stop war with diamond dogs. Fluttershy saying that even that Rainbow did race the bullies she make Fluttershy fall from claudes.
And all Rainbow was concerned was that she did a rainboom. Etc.
It feet right in your story.
9261497
They were used in season 4 premier to summon Discord. And mentioned/used more and more from season 7.
9263543
From my understanding once they were added to the tree they were not used again as they were. The Discord thing i forgot about but ehh. it was a bit part in usage.
Now as for the rest. yes dash was an ass and a braggart. She did a number of stupid things as she had never really had any one else tell her how great she was save a small group of fans, suddenly it was the whole town.
The most her friends did was ask her if she thought she was taking it too far. they never flat out told her she needed to stop and was being an ass. They just latched onto a plan and made dash look like a fool. They also nearly got her killed at least 3 times if we ignore cartoon logic. [ I'm not even counting the damn because that whole scene was stupid.]
So while her blow up was not 100% justified, it was more than enough for it to happen.
After a betrayal like that...well, it's no guarantee Rainbow will even be at the Wedding, and if she wasn't that would mean no reason to send Twilight to the caverns to prevent the Elements' use...
Applejack and Rarity both have no leg to stand on regarding overweening pride, though Rarity seems to handle it better most of the time. And Pinkie has no leg to stand on in regards to claiming somepony else is annoying.
This IS a little ironic, given she did betray a friend herself, what with Gilda. I wonder if RD is going to take her element back or if someone else is going to be the new Element of Loyalty. Spike or Rahs maybe?
I kind of love this, but you need a copy editor. There are a lot of little errors in this, like the repeated "Element's of Harmony" and weird quotation formatting.
9266801
Oh hell no! Gilda got pissed because a bunch of jokes set her off, and she basically tried to force Rainbow to choose who she was going to be friends with.
So no, not even close.
Ok I'm more than convinced that Rah can. speak equestrian, he doesn't want too for the most part.
I'm still trying to figure out why Rainbow was wearing her Element. Did it...summon to her suddenly and nobody else reacted?
9552003
After the crap with Discord and having to hunt the element down, most of the mane 6 started wearing the element all the time. Just in case another of Celestia's ex's showed up.
Okay, let's start with... yeah this ep is an utter and total shit show of horrible writing with no value to it beyond a cautionary tail of how NOT to make your debut in a popular show as a writer, and other basic "Things not to do" lists. There is no way you can write a story about the events of this episode and not have it be a fix fic in some way, because you need to fix things just so your story isn't a jumbled pile of idiocy too. It's earned it's rank among the most hated eps.
That said, this..... is both one of if not the most popular way to 'fix' it, and also one of the ones I least like. The whole "Everything happens as is, but then Dash flips the fuck out at the end" is just.... While she has reason to be pissed, and the other five were kind of assholes, Dash is FAR from blameless in this either. She's got her share of dumbassedness to make up for, and it gets really tiring seeing fics try to make her out to be blameless. Now, am quite a bit ahead so see where things go, so not going too into it and did see some stuff that fixes this.
That said, this is far from the worst use of this at all, and is, possibly the best you could go at using the idea. At the very least you aren't maintaining that the most logical, and 'realistic' way the events would have led, and the only thing that makes perfect sense is how they should have gone, is RD slipping into depression and eventually killing herself. (And people winder why I can't stand Somber or his ideas on what makes a story that isn't a dark, depressing shit show.) Or the ones that somehow manage to pin everything, every single issue in this episode that requires addressing, wholly on Twilight, and pinning all blame on her somehow. (Like the above, or another one, where not only was this whole plan all Twilight, but she also used an illegal black magic curse to give RD bad luck, a curse that would only keep growing in power till it killed her.)
Really, I can even buy RD snapping at them, and yeah they deserved it. This, wasn't really a bad go at this, just not the way I like it being fixed. And even then, it could have worked, but I do think the story pushed it just a bit too far. Having her pissed, yeah, but the story went too had on it, made it far to "Fuck you all never talk to me again I fucking hate you!", especially for how it all resolved. The puling off the Element was just, the point where the story lost me, not only is that over dramatic even for Drama Dog, it was, kind of stupid. Why the hell was she wearing it in the first place? That came right out of nowhere.
Speaking of Drama Dog, now his rant, that was really kind of epic. But it doesn't change, yeah RD fucked up hard here too. Beyond the vaious minor ways the writing was just not good, there are two major issues that turn this from flawed, to crap story. 1. The mane 6never try to talk to RD about this directly before resorting to Operation: Beat it into her thick skull. 2. The Mare-do_Well saves sholdn't have started till after RD had clearly been letting her fame and big head get in the way of saving ponies, and started putting ponies at risk just to hype herself up. We see that during the first MMDW show up, but yeah, really would have gone better if it was THAT, rather then just "She's bragging too much" that pushed them into doing this.
But she was still being an ass and putting her ego over saving ponies. And even before that, sure she saved the baby..... and then tossed it into the air when she was done using it for a photo-op.
And I do like Twilight getting called out on her Celestia grump-on, even if the circumstances are nothing even remotely similar to anything Tia's done. But we've been over that. But, it actually was good seeing this Twilight actually realize "I fucked up big.. I'm so sorry" And, yeah, again overall, while I don't like the way it went about fixing the story, it was mostly a really good way of doing it, but just pushed things that little bit too far, especially for how things get fixed. And while Drama Dog ranting them out was rather Glorious, he glossed over stuff Dash legit screwed up on as well. Cause no, they did not put ponies in danger, that was Dash's ego.
So yeah, this was pretty good and, well, given what you had to work with, came off fairly well, if could have toned it down just a bit at the end.
9688690
Also unlike in canon this divide isn't going away by the next episode. I agree i was a bit heavy handed in this and dash isn't blameless, but this episode was needed for the next few episodes.
Also Dash is one of the few that's nearly always wearing her element because of ego and photo ops.
Does this series exist to be anything but your soapbox? Frog snacks, TDR, you've been doing this with every character for the whole story, and the only one who's coming out more likeable for it is Blueblood! Everything is either a neurotic retelling of each episode plus your OC furry, or a case of one character telling another one to "take that!" I'm not sure I want to continue if this is all I'm going to get out of it.
10061749
Wow, if you don’t like the story don’t read it. This is literally a parody of the show but with TDR’s own world building and lore. These are his characters not yours. This is his story not yours. If you don’t like it then leave and don’t be a dick just cause your view of a character doesn’t match up with the authors view.
Wait, what?! She's wearing the Element of Loyalty? Why?! Where the hell did that come from?! She wasn't wearing it in the show, and you made zero mention of her having it on her in this or the previous chapter. Hell, you don't mention them wearing it at all in the entire story! You can't just pull that out of hammerspace for dramatic convenience. Where did she get it from? Did Celestia give the Elements to the girls? If so, when? Why was she wearing...
9552868
I... dude, that is the kind of thing that would best be mentioned in the story itself!!! Or hell, why not even in the damn postscript?!
derpicdn.net/img/view/2013/11/26/481925.gif
I say again, if he can speak that fluently and eloquently in English/Equish/whatever, what is the point of the "Bork, bork, bork?" He's friends with all these characters, so why does he speak in a way they can't understand? You made a brief mention of either Applejack or Rarity randomly understanding his Bork speak, so I guess they're beginning to learn it, but why is he making them rely on Twilight and Spike to translate? I mean, if I had a friend who only spoke Spanish around me, when I knew for a fact that he spoke fluent English, it would drive me bonkers. Id' be screaming at him to speak so I can understand him.
Look, TDR, I just recently posted a blog talking about how I love this series. I love the characters you've built, the world you've built, the lore you've built. It keeps me coming back no matter what... but this shit is just maddening. You can't just randomly throw shit out there with no set-up or foreshadowing. I don't know if it's just you not remembering what you wrote 200K words ago, but this pattern on inconsistencies is aggravating as hell. I mean, I'm going to keep reading because again, this is such a rich, entertaining world. And I know that I probably sound like a snobby asshole with all these comments, but I truly do love the series. That's precisely why I get so annoyed when this shit pops up, because it rips me from the world.
Like, I've been blazing through these stories, so maybe I missed where it was explained why he talks like he does. Point it to me, and I'll gladly rescind my comment.
10663844
It was said at some point that girls tended to hang onto their elements due to all the crap that went on. With Discord.
Oh and the point, the long running joke
Is that it's more dramatic this way.
Rahs is the drama dog if he can do something that is all about the drama he does.
Why did I hear Go to tartarus?
This chapter is a masterpiece
Dear Princess Celestia, today i did a fairly good impression of you. I tricked someone close to me and made her miserable. Got her almost killed and now she lost all trust in me... Sound familiar?
Anyway... Rainbowdash Element of Loyalty is broken so you don't have reason to send me and my remaining friends into suicide missions anymore.
Your teaching following former student
Twilight ~♡
She has proven herself to deserve to be the Element of Loyalty time and time again. And an actual honest to bucking Luna hero. I never really liked Mare-Do-Well. I mean sure Best Pony could get a little full of herself at times but most of the time her bragging just was kinda endearing. It was part of what made her her. If Best Pony didn't occasionally brag about being Best Pony then she'd just be some other pony.
I really like how you handled this episode. And I can't wait to see them make up with Best Pony.
RAINBOW DASH IS! BEST! PONY! EVER!
10950513
I disagree with the RBD being the best pony myself, though given your icon I'm laughing more than i should be at the rant.
That said the maredo well episode was stupid any wayone of if not the worst of the season
9261524
Oh course not. That would admitting to everyone how much they messed up and it's one thing to admit to dash it's another to tell everyone how they trick their friend and stole her spotlight and used their attention just to make her feel and put them in more danger then if they had been actually helping her.
