Pascoite

I'm older than your average brony, but then I've always enjoyed cartoons. I'm an experienced reviewer, EqD pre-reader, and occasional author.

Taking a cue from the thoroughly enjoyable Miyajima, this is a storehouse for short tales that don't warrant being separate.

And just recently, my description has run over the allowable character limit. So I've moved the individual story descriptions into a table of contents.

Great story! And now I'm hungry.

Nice little story. And the description of the muffin... it sounds so tasty, I'm getting hungry! :derpytongue2:

Wow that muffin was a dick

That annoying voice in the back of your head that you get when you have really low self esteem yeah I got that one too

Very cute! I shall have to attempt this muffin though I may not include one or two things as it might be too much flavourwise.

.... :pinkiesad2: Very well written.

Very sweet, but felt it bit too short to have much emphasis.

I saw 'ceremonial knife', and my mind went to a very strange place for half a second.

Well, that's the hard part of these minific contests. You're severely limited on word count. Max allowed on this one was 600 (FiMFic's word count is inaccurate—GDocs says 600 on the nose). I do plan to rewrite a number of these, that one included, into one-shots of 2.5k or more. I've only gotten around to doing that with one so far (Absolutely Anonymous became Nom de Plume), and another's in progress. Then there are 5 more I want to tackle.

2428341 *nods* I know it, don't worry. The comment was more to suggest if you did end up expanding it, I felt it could have more impact.

Oh, crap. I hope this isn't part of the same world as the earlier thing you had them in. That'd make this one even more depressing.

Ah, my. I wonder if certain people know that Derpy is actually the fandom's avatar of bittersweetness. The woman I'm thinking of in particular posted a journal envy on her Deviantart account about how the cameo she made in Magical Mystery Cure only occurred so she herself could be mocked for being differently abled.

I feel so sorry for Derpy. It's too easy to take her for a fool...

Oh......I get it......"Oatmeal = crazy."

OOOohhhh. A drone with a brain.....COOL!!!!:pinkiehappy:

Aww... :pinkiesad2:

Now, I've got to know too. How did she die?

Left indeterminate for the reader to speculate on. I'd say disease, but it doesn't matter too much.

Ah. A bit of a slice-of-life thing.

Hmm. This implies a world in which her enthusiasm fades with the passage of time.

Ah....the triangle....and Blueblood the hypotenuse to be murdered if only Rarity knew she was in one.....

Oh Sunbutt, you old softy!

There is something magical about the phrase "malevolent breakfast".

Aww, that's cute.

Man that's a bad trip.

Treehouse of Horror:
Rainbow Dash didn't really need to sleep that night--or for several nights later--anyway... :rainbowderp: :unsuresweetie::applecry::scootangel:

Ouch. Very painfully sweet Pasco

He trudged over and glared at them. “You know toilets are canon, right?”

Well, outhouses are, anyway. And what is an outhouse, after all, but a big, communal bucket? :trixieshiftright:

After reading A Trick of Memory, I thought of Big Lebowski, after Donny died. We need a fucking sequel for that,

Oh, boy......Twilight, you idiot.

I can't quote the whole thing so...

I saw in the thread after reading this. :B

Twi would do that, wouldn't she? I kinda figured she was faking, but I didn't guess why. Nice job hinting at it with that "I've been practicing" line, too

Wait, wait... I recognize this! I didn't realize you'd done a proof-of-concept for this!

WHOO background Raripie!

5893870 This concept got reused in the same story as "To Those Who Wait," at least the sentiment and language, but it's not Pinkie anymore.

Heh. That's our Twilight.

I keep seeing stories like this, but the setup never fails to amuse. :)

What an awesome idea. like to think these two get really deeply involved in Bab's life, if they are not outright her parents.

"Don't you even take the bones out?"
"If we took the bones out, it wouldn't be crunchy!"
