Brian Cartwright enjoyed two things in life: Making music and getting home from school. He didn't watch much TV, got average grades in most of his classes, and tried as best as he could not to stand out unless he was on stage playing the drums. Even then he was in the background as his friends played guitar and sang covers of popular songs.

That would change on spring day during his final year of High School when he finds himself in a world of candy colored ponies, magic, and dark things in the shadows.
