Actually, they still performed their duties as flower fillies, but are saved from Changelings when Ash and Bao make their dramatic battle entrance, which is this:
Ash Magma:*does the Mighty Eagle Battle Cry before burning up some Changelings*
Bao: No, Ash, it's like this!*does Bomb's Battle Cry and cuts down many other Changelings.

i have a question it said that a serpent, fluttershys animals, AND the cmc all saw her cross the boarder, where is this boarder since by your own comment they still should be in canterlot being the flower fillies but its just kinda confusing that it would all be so close
