Pinkie is a shipper. That is something nobody can deny. But, when her friends stop and finally have a talk with her about it, they come to realise, for the first time, just how much she loves it.

Not something I ship. But It's okay tho ^^

Not a fan of the ships pinkie is trying to make with the 6 but pretty funny.

This was fun, and cute. XD

Especially the joke with the consent forms. :rainbowlaugh:

To be honest I don’t ship any of the ships (if that makes sense) but any who it’s funny!
~Ara

fun fact: i ship all of them

i call my ship the omni-ship

This story really got me. Pinkie sure enjoys shipping everyone!:rainbowlaugh:

Approved by Pinkie Pie:pinkiesmile:

Vinyl's taking Octavia out to lunch later!

Could have been just a lunch :unsuresweetie:. Why not have a lunch with one's friend ?.. Eh-heh-heh :twilightsheepish:!

I just, you know, gave them a few words of encouragement here and there, and boom, Octascratch is now a thing!

Made me roll my eyes :ajbemused:.

I must say, whenever there are shippers ahoy, I raise my shields and charge my phasers, as the shipper alert is going off...

But, same, as with hackers, shippers do it wrong. Well, probably everyone has a shipper inside him :unsuresweetie:. I may do it myself :twilightblush:... But I focus on the interaction between the characters of choice. Take Pinkie and Twilight, for example: whatever their relationship be, there is no romance (duh!). But it's the relationship, that counts: they interact, they disagree, they make up, they're happy, they tease, they prank, they annoy (each other) etc.. It may be wonderful at times! The relationship is the focus! Same, as hackers were known to be some very curious guys, who'd hack a system just to figure its workings out, but have come to be known as criminals, who disrespect others' rights and hack into a random system just as a burglar into a house. We all are guilty of shipping that way or another, but are we "criminals"? No. Some are, true (as they hook random so-not-pairings up :twilightangry2:), and it is due to their wrongdoings, that shippers are despised. But if we do it right, are we to be blamed? I think so not.

Pinkie did it wrong :fluttershysad:. And I so loved the cover picture ! I am stirred away of any shipfic, but this cover!..:rainbowkiss:!

This gave me a decent laugh. And I could absolutely see Pinkie doing this.

I ship ALL of them:twilightblush:

Pinkie seeks to maximize happiness. Romantic bliss is a subset of that value. The implications are obvious.

At least, it is not Nuke from Orbit you know.. :scootangel:
It is all in exploring the characters involved, adding the dynamics of the situation of the two(or more) being an "iem"
Do you recognize the characters, involved in the ship; as who they were before, or do you have to twist them out of proportion to make your ship stay afloat? :facehoof:
You have to find the right time and place, to introduce them into the ship; where it makes sense, in the spirit presented.. or the ship sinks..

Sounds legitimate.
Even then...
Everyone would benefit, if shipping disappeared altogether. "Exploring the characters" can be done adequately, eh?
"Item", humph! I've seen pairings. What was in the shippers' heads? Who writes romance like that?? It's cheap, simplistic, uncalled-for, and most of the times it is insulting the chars downright!
But... Sometimes we enjoy the dynamics... too much... Sometimes we slip into that too... But... can we stand out?..

Whom would you ship Pinkie, if you want a good ship on the firm ground of Character dynamics?
On the other rubbery hoof; what ships could she be in, and what dynamics would be implied for these ships?

I guess a "Twilight Summit would be something for you?
including every possible instance of you Book Horse/Egg Head?
