Beautiful. Simply beautiful.

I remember reading something like this years ago. I can't remember the name though. All I remember is the author.

Reaching in, Bonnie lifted out the nightmare and gazed at her in mock fright. "So it wasn't the Scary Witch! It was the... Evil Black Pony! " She held up Nightmare Moon and made her dance in the air. "She tried to make everything dark and scary like she is! But the rainbow ponies... led by the brave Rainbow Princess..." Bonnie lifted out Rainbow Dash and flew her around, making wooshing noises. "... trapped her in the Magic Blanket of Wishes, and then..." She looked around, and spotted Luna. "... they turned her into the nice blue Moon Pony! Who made up with her sister, and now they're all having a party together!" Quickly, she collected all the ponies and arranged them facing each other in a circle. "Even the Evil Black Pony, because they made her friendly again, and the ponies make friends with everyone, even the bad guys!"

Oh my god this kid has a beautiful imagination! And princess Rainbow? Hahaha hilarious!

This was an amazing crossover catching the spirit of both MLP AND toy story brilliantly honestly I would not mind more crossovers buddy.

This is an easy feature story!

Man, this is wonderful and makes me so wanna watch TS again.

I like the story and how it is set upon. This is like watching a short Toy Story video, only for ponies as well. I hope you manage to do a sequel for this story. Again, it's a good 'toy' story and hope I see more or something like this later on.

A very lovely story.

And may we all live happily ever after !

Wow, thanks! I'm so pleased you enjoyed it!

This was an amazing crossover catching the spirit of both MLP AND toy story...

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I knew with a crossover story I was going to have to put in something extra to make it stand out. In a way, it's a bit of a thank-you card to MLP for being such an unexpectedly wonderful series. I particularly tried to capture the surprise and wonderment I imagine most adults have on watching MLP for the first time and realizing, oh, it's not just colorful ponies giggling and having tea parties. Take Twilight, for example (a.k.a. Bonnie's "book pony")... who would guess what a voracious reader she is, just from hearing her name?

Bonnie was fun to write as well... I really like her roller-coaster, stream-of-consciousness style of imagination. And the way she actually gets all the important stuff, but gives everything just that little extra spin of her own (e.g. Princess Rainbow!)

Thanks again for reading it, I'm glad it worked so well for you!

9207476
I hear you! I'm a TS fan myself, and it's amazing how the movies have gone from strength to strength with the same great characters!

9208117
I did indeed! I'll have to remember this one, it's worth the re-reading.

The little one eventually finds herself a Scootaloo and Sweetie belle, yes? The reunions make for a pleasant dream.

9207620
Thanks for the feedback! I'll have to think about a good TS-worthy plot line, though!
Maybe an MLP:The Movie tie in, like if Mason got a Storm King playset for his birthday... :twilightoops:

9208146
Oh, gosh... Pony Story 2 : The Search For Scootaloo... the mind reels, the world will shake and shudder... :twilightsheepish:

9208141
It also makes me excited and anxious to see the Toy Story 4 movie coming out in then next year or so.

9208152
did you make a the last unicorn reference?.....also like to see more of this universe

A really sweet story.

All right, you win: you got that stupidly happy smile out of me. Have a thumbs up.

9208152
Yes, write it. PLEASE:pinkiesad2::fluttercry::applecry::fluttershbad::fluttershyouch:

9208276
Thanks! And even nicer is that you got that Last Unicorn reference! (I totally lucked out on that one, it was exactly the book I needed to help Celestia win over Bonnie's mother!)

Okay, I may not have cared too much about the characters' fates when watching Toy Story, but when it's the ponies, it's kinda fucked up how families can be separated and all that, or if one toy has to join copies of the same toys it was friends with, but it's technically all different people... The more I think about Toy Story's universe, the less I want to think about it.

9208474
I was thinking the same thing, at first I didn't relize it as it was just a subconscious block. That was until I read this story and had me reevaluate the movies again and how unsettling it all is, it had me empathise with woodys' and buzzs' situations even more which is amazing.

Oh wow, this was tone perfect for both settings and so wonderful perfect. I had never thought about this crossover before but it makes so much sense and works so well.

And random thought, with them apparently making TS4, and Hasbro doing more Disney toys now then before (and already having toys in the movies) there is a possibility of having a pony in the background (or possibly with a line or two) in the next film, double so with the main human being a little girl. Not going to hold my breath, but it wasn't something I never thought about until your story.

Also, bonus for the 13th Doctor tease. :)

9208449
heh almost had a man tear at that part of the fic

This was really wonderful. It brought back such lovely memories of Toy Story... I could really hear Tom Hanks and Tim Allen's voices when I read Woody and Buzz's dialogue. And also let me say, you did a fantastic job of keeping the MLP characters' personalities, while adding some new wrinkles to them, befitting their status as toys in this universe.

Just, really great work all around.

Heartwarming and surprisingly suspenseful. This truly is a disturbing universe for toys whose owners have outgrown them. Thank you for a great story.

Awwww  This is probably one of the most adorable stories I've ever read here :coolphoto: It deserves a place in my library :raritywink:

For a second she thought she saw Bonnie's mother look sad, as if she was remembering something...

...because she was. She was remembering a book she loved to read when she was a little girl: a book about a white unicorn. The last of her kind.

Lady Amalthea, the unsung hero of this story

Aw, that was cute. A little depressing for my tastes, but cute.

Heck yeah! Just wow, you know how to write for maximum feels!

It was a pony story, but also a toy story. It was an ending, but also a beginning.

That was just so gosh darned adorable!!! Instant fav!

9208152
Maybe a Scoots and Sweetie Belle who have just come from a home where they had their own Rarity, Rainbow and Apple Bloom. And have to come to terms with the 'duplicates'.

9208449
Ah... You almost spelled the reference out to us, I would have been surprised if someone did not get it... I think.

What a wonderful tale. I must say I've never seen MLP crossed over with Toy Story. Here's hoping TS4 next year is good!

“You got a friend in me!, YOU GOT A FRIEND IN ME!”

At least Jaime didn't get the knockoff toys. Wonder if they only speak in chinese if they did have one or two.

What a SWEET story! I haven't enjoyed an original concept like that since someone did a "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" spinoff with the ponies being more cartoon actors! My only critique is that for some reason you had Pinkie Pie speaking in italics most of the time, and there seemed to be almost TOO many exclamation marks. But that is a super small thing and overall the story was wonderful, touching, and well done. Great job and thanks for sharing!

My only critique is that for some reason you had Pinkie Pie speaking in italics most of the time...

That's because Pinkie Pie always speaks in italics on the show... you mean you didn't know that? :pinkiehappy:

(Kidding! It's a typographic trope I've been using to reflect her sugar-crazed speaking style.)

When I saw this I blasted woody’s roundup. Haven’t read it yet but sure as shit gonna

9208148

Villain team-ups work well.

Emperor Zurg and the Storm King try and take over Bonnie's toybox! (With a little help from her brother's edgier toys.)

9208117
A charming little tale...

9210574
Ahhh okay. I dont think it gave me that effect because when I use italics like that, its usually for a flashback or when someone is thinking. So I kept feeling like Pinkie was psychically projecting her thoughts or something XD

9211124
Fair enough -- it probably works better when she's got a lot more dialogue than she has here! :twilightsheepish:

9210474

I haven't enjoyed an original concept like that since someone did a "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" spinoff with the ponies being more cartoon actors!

Was it this one? Who Hijacked Twilight Sparkle? Oh yeah, that is good! How did I miss that?

NO.......WHY HAS IT BEEN SO LONG.....WHYYY?!?

Wow toy story and MLP was on my mind since I watched the show and bravo you earned a like and a fave

This is a very good one-shot.

This is truly the perfect crossover!:twilightsheepish:

9213190
Thanks much! I'm amazed at (and grateful for!) all the positive feedback it's gotten!

Actually, TS can stand both for Toy Story and Twilight Sparkle. Even though I am totally unfamiliar with the Toy Story universe, this story itself is very sweet. Have a :yay: and a

9222768
 It also stands for Tabasco Sauce! What? That stuff is great on cupcakes! Hee!

Thanks much for the feedback -- and if you haven't checked out the Toy Story movies yet, please do. I can only barely scratch the surface of how wonderful they are in this story!
