This story is a sequel to Proud To Be An American

Adagio and Trixie are still as happy as can be, and nothing can go wrong. Until Adagio asks Trixie if she could meet her parents... only two problems. Trixie parents don't know that she's dating, or even the fact she's dating a girl. Nervousness and flirtatiousness ensues.

So, this could be interesting really... I'll be keeping an eye on this. Perfect trashy -in a good way- teenager drama.

Oh Adagio is gonna make Trixie blush heavily, I know it.

Prepare for a comedy of errors, on the part of Trixie, for thinking she can get anything past her mother.

Jack could only chuckle "It will be amusing watching her dance around the subject, I will wager, Adagio figures out we know before Trixie figures out we know."

Oh nice, you used one of my ideas!

This is a great start! I'm looking forward for the rest of the chapters!

Very good very good

3 things I'm going to say right now.

1. I like where this is going.

2. I find it hilarious that mom already knows about their relationship & that Trixie's gay

And 3. Isn't this more realistically the sequel to the 4th of July story, cuz you did say that was canon?

hehe. Sometimes Mama Bear just knows :raritywink:

Oops. My bad:twilightblush:

Ah, one of the traditions of every young teen couple: Meet the Parents. Let's just hope Adagio makes a pretty good addition. I know she can be overly sexy.

"Yep. They're dating."

Oh for Pete’s sake!
That got me!

Absolutely adorable, if not slightly cringey on how badly Trixie is hiding her relationship with Adagio. Seriously, it's pretty obvious the two are dating. ...I'd be curious to what the parents think of Adagio, honestly. Like, in private. Maybe a whole chapter from their POV?

I think I just got diabetes from all that cuteness!

Also, awesome Cuphead reference! :pinkiehappy:

I can't believe you made Adagio suffer like that, by making her play Cuphead! You are evil, Shadow!

I'm totally not one of those evil things :pinkiecrazy::rainbowwild:

Cuphead is not evil! Its just wacky since cartoons that are Hand-Drawn are now rare and are now Computer Animated

Evil game, nuff said

Have you been to an arcade?

Finally caught up on reading this, and I'm happy I did. It's cute as all get-out, and got some nice chuckle-worthy moments to it.

I said it before, and I'll say it again, "Mom just know everything." This was a sweet and great way to end the story

I really liked the stuff with Trixie's parents in this chapter. Especially the aftermath of their bet :rainbowlaugh:

That was a very sweet and short story! Even though they knew (mostly Sunflower), I'm glad that Trixie's parents accepted Trixie's and Adagio's relationship.

A thought strikes me, now that Trixie's parents have appeared in a story in the shatteredverse they can now also appear in the main story with no issues!

Okay, so not bad. Not great, but there's still one thing that bothers me. If this was not planned to be a particularly long story to begin with, why not just make it one long one shot? I mean, that's the question that bothers me.

Because I didn't think. That's pretty much it.

You need to give yourself more credit Four. I mean, what you were doing was fine in itself. It was, as I said before, perfectly good trashy teenager drama. It just needed better execution, that's all I'm saying.
