Holy mackerel. You did a VERY good job at the start of the chapter. I particularly liked the opening scene with the three shadowy figures discussing the reasoning for wanting to reform Discord.
Fluttershy, obviously, was picked because she was MUCH more resistant to Discord's mind games as the others and Sunset because she is an ex-villain, so she will be quicker to spot Discord's tricks.
Just one detail. At one point here, at one point, you said "ponies" when you meant "people" (i.e. "I believe you are the PEOPLE who can help him do just that.")
Still, the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-ups are all well done in all the right places.

Discord: Point taken. I suppose, as an ex-villain, you KNOW a lot of tricks because you've used them yourself. Fear not, though. I WILL behave myself - relatively speaking.
Sunset: That's all we can ask, all things considered. But considering what you pulled last time, it's hard to blame our friends for being suspicious.
Discord: You mean like Twilight wishing she memorized a couple of "reform spells" BEFORE you woke me up?
Sunset: What are you talking about?
Discord: Nothing. She seems to just be that paranoid concerning those that have seriously wronged her or her friends before.
And, yeah, I see your point. But I'm trying very hard not to spoil things for the other readers.
At any rate, I'll certainly be looking forward to more of this.
Excellent work on the latest chapter. The "trial and error" scenes were just the right mixture of humorous and emotional and I LOVED the little implication that Ray is trying to act as Discord's conscience . Overall, the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places.

I really like this story, and i always had a problem with the reformation spell bit, read some fics where twilight did that.....she regrets to her ever dying day she did them.

I mean, yeah, Fluttershy and Sunset are right in that they at least need to give Discord a chance (even if they need to be tempering it with a little more discipline). But, the others' paranoia is NOT without good reason (particularly concerning they ARE right about Discord's motives).
So, yeah, I'll definitely be looking forward to more of this.
