I'm okay with decent. I wasn't sure how this story would turn out anyway, given my usual writing style. I didn't consult anyone and just wanted the challenge of setting the scene, but thank you for reading! I expected most wouldn't even comment because of the premise, but it was good to see I was wrong.

I wholeheartedly agree. I don't have any plans for continuing. The idea behind writing this was to get a better understanding of what feral/feral would look like in the MLP-verse, or even feral/pony. There are some very interesting pairings that I could see there being niches for. It's why I love fantasy so much as a genre. Anything goes, for the most part.
I absolutely LOVE this kind of story. Feral breeding at its finest, but no violence or rape. Totally willing mates continuing their species, a glimpse at the aftermath - their clutch - and a damn sexy read overall. Liked, faved, and top-faved. I will definately be reading again.
The only small criticism I have to offer is that the sex scene wasn't very detailed or long for that matter. I mean, I know feral don't breed for long, but...well, details never hurt.

I mean. Technically, furry art is based on anthromorphs - be it physically anthromorphic where they have humanoid-like forms, or mentally/emotionally anthromorphic, like every single pony in MLP. In this case, since Ember normally walks upright with notably separate arms and legs, this would technically be less furry than the canon material.

Great story, it is one of those stories that could have more chapters, but doesn't need them. I love stories that let me question how I thought of things before. As always greatness in what you write.

I'm glad you liked it! I love, love, love when it's kept consensual to a degree. With creatures as strong as dragons I'd imagine it'd have to be. Can't procreate if your mate is trying to tear your head off! To be honest, I was having a hard time stretching the sex scenes. With ferals they naturally don't last anywhere near as long—the big guy swoops in, gets what they want, and flies away. I totally could have stretched it out a little further, but I was going for a somewhat more realistic approach. As for the detail, again, I definitely could have put more work into it, but I wanted to keep a good ratio between the detail and the actual action. This is more my own preference, but I don't mind a bunch of detail so long as the lewd meat-slapping is consistent. I wasn't sure what kind of reception this story would receive, so I kept it as even as I could.

It's not as much the guy having an oversized dick here. The story makes it clear Ember is a pettite gal and the guy is much bigger than her. He could be average but since she is so much smaller it feels huge.

Excellent. And it's nice to see a story from the female's perspective. There are far too few of those on here.
In animalistic breeding it's the female allowing it and the male asserting himself over her. The female gives herself to him when he has proven to be stronger. He is the active one and she is the passive one. Ember didn't seem very submissive to him after she had accepted that she was going to be bred.
Also his entry was something I almost missed. You could have emphasized it more.

Keep in mind that these aren't any creatures we know; these are dragons, which don't exist on earth. If this author wants to write a dragoness as not entirely submissive in bed, they can.
Also, recalling Ember from the show, she definitely wouldn't be submissive in bed.
