wow a grate chapter.
so many putting there real feeling out in the open.
some how i thing Devon should spend time with this night pony stallion, somepony to talk to about night pony's and life over all.
the house Devon is looking for needs to have several rooms, it is time to invite Amanda to join in living there cheaper in the long run.
We have two ponies that look like they would at least consider rehumanization, and ironically a human that discourages them from it. Not sure how I feel about that. I can see where Devon is feeling what she is feeling, and it could be called commendable, but Robby is five and even if he was older she has to be noticing how radically his mind has been altered. She should have said they would look into rehumanization if he was willing instead of encouraging him to stay a pony.
I really hope number gets that help she needs. Wild will be a good moral compass for her, also looks like they found the dead body.
I’m really starting to feel worried for the transformed. ETS has given them an idealised version of pony society that simply doesn’t exist. Equestria has their own problems, and although isn’t as bad as human society, it isn't the utopia that the transformed think it is. And as for constantly calling them humans, acting superior and hoping the rest of humanity follows them, that is only going to lead to problems and possible confrontation’s down the road. They’re doing themselves no favours in the long run and they can’t see it.

I'd be more worried that Number is going to scew Wild's moral compass. Wild is the younger, more impressionable, of the two. Already we see her engaging in activity she didn't think was right. Maybe Wild will keep Number from falling back into her old habits, but not without the cost of becoming a little less moral herself.

Yaa that is so true =<
“Had Already been done.”
Whinny has two Ns. Otherwise, it’s Wine E.
“An even amount of humans and ponies.”
Interpreting =/= Interrupting.
You used the word “back” twice consecutively when it was only needed once.
Onward, I can more or less see eye to eye with these two. I mean, I get where they are coming from, but I have never been in their situations at all. I buy the self betterment stuff, and agree wholeheartedly with it. That does not mean I have a desire to do anything actively reckless and hazardous that could seriously kill or maim people. I simply lack specific desires most normal people have, so I save loads that way. I’m not exactly scraping the bottom of the barrel of poverty myself, but I am miserly. I can afford new furnishings, but what’s the point of that? I have a solid and comfortable bed to sleep on, and have for the better part of the last decade. I have no back troubles, so why buy new furnishings? There’s only one reason, and that’s generosity to furnishing companies that are already thriving just fine. If I wanted to be generous, I’d drop pennies into a beggar’s mug or throw cash at a homeless shelter. I have no significant other nor children, as they are not profitable, nor do I need the responsibility. I take no responsibility for relatives who have their own careers going, thus do not need my help. When I shop, it’s for groceries. I make my other possessions last. Steel bottles, clothing and bags that aren’t made from synthetic materials. Jute or leather bags. My own needles and thread spools. Buy things secondhand from yardsales and Goodwill and even the swapmeet. No amount of wealth will make me less stingy.
I see no harm in having a drink. In fact, drinking is good for you so long as you are (1) developed and (2) don’t get stumbling drunk. In fact, we could all use a drink given these times in reality, never you mind something worse in fiction land. The importance of complete sobriety are highly overrated, and it’s counterproductive to draw frequent attention to it. It makes us less responsible, encourages the reckless, and paradoxically endangers more lives. Just bust those who are actively and demonstrably endangering the masses. Leave the rest alone, reform the laws involving drink. You don’t want to cause a booze cartel to come into existence.
I’d say I felt sorry for this poor bugger. She has no idea she’s been played by two formerly gender confused mares who both have a magical knack for persuasion. And her boss just found out, and never told her.
I consider it a small victory every time the optimistic vision of intrinsic good is turned on its head, and the alleged superiority get taken down a keg. In the actual FiM show, ponies do not murder. But then, neither do other beings in their world. There’s never a reason for murderous intent. With the sole exception of Nightmare Moon, there hasn’t been a being that either did murder, or made the attempt. At worst, they will be negligent, force each other to pull dangerous stunts, or leave them in a precarious situation. Maybe they’ll hospitalize each other. But let us not pretend they are entirely pacifist. Besides, the current state exists because a paranoid mare thought Equestrian defense needed to be beefed up to the utmost degree. Turn the lot of us, and whatever other lifeform is to be found, into a weapon to be wielded by Celestia. What better way to penetrate the pacifist veneer? The direct mind influence isn’t total, but still significant. In fact, if this idea doesn’t sway them, or adds paranoia a country and planet they’ve never seen need their help, it will only reinforce the idea that around a quarter of them are truly insane and need be committed. And who better to lock up and treat this quarter than real Equestrians? What, you wanna call the native country of your savior a nation of traitors? She betrayed them, not the other way around, intent be damned. Celestia tried to get through with her, but she would much rather die than face the facts of the matter. Worse, she’d kill herself rather than live in a reality where her hero has stepped down from her pedestal and denounced her actions, and she did just that. Maybe Tia can get these ponies to kill themselves the same way. Like Buchanan tricking Wilson into a murder suicide, but without the murder.
Once again, evidence SS went directly into their minds shows itself in their insistence on equine terms. Equestrians use them, but they don’t insist on being exclusive. They will use the words child and foal interchangeably, and say every creature more often than ever. They use the words girl and boy as they will filly and colt, and shall even more given the presence of other specie. The worst thing, however is their persistent use of “Ponies and Humans” every time they refer to all individuals as a whole abroad. This is five syllables, three more than is needed. Just saying people would narrow it down to just two syllables. Not to mention it creates subconscious segregation putting that extra effort in, or worse, no effort but more syllables nonetheless. This segregation in this case already feeds into itself. No reason to add more fuel to the fire. It’s like speaking about both of the Cake twins together, but specifying both of their names. Or the De Ville twins for that matter. There’s going to be instances where you only need and want to speak to or about Phillip De Ville specifically. There will be instances where you only need to refer to his sister (I have forgotten her name; What was it?). But when talking to and about both, don’t call them out separately, it’s annoying. Do you say, “Every Gryphon, Dragon, Ass, Zebra, Horse, Human, D dog, Changeling, and on and on? Of course not. Everybody or creature works just the same.
It’s official. Amanda is this tale’s equivalent of Ted. And Remedy’s father of Fred. Still, the lack of hands, wings, or even psychokinesis are the real issue she is on about, and that’s fair enough. It doesn’t have to be about species. It’s frankly a miracle adult blank flanks still exist at this point. This is likely going to be the only generation of them ever. A one time deal. Nothing like it prior or since. I hope she makes the right choice. Others who would have done the same had that chance stolen from them due to the Equestrians being too slow on it.
As for Remedy’s dad, like Fred, it’s too late to do anything about what he is, but considering he’s like Fred in his mind, his head, his appearance is another matter. Human guises are a thing, and I imagine both he and Fred would both be interested in giving them shot. Although, Fred would have less resources available, he could still pull though it someway. Thomas appeared in a future vision, and wasn’t described in any physical pose, nor doing anything with his shape. Given he still went by his original name, and no nickname was mentioned, and he only had a dialogue appearance, He may well have been in his guise at the time. I like to think Remedy's dad will be like another group of people from three other sets of fiction I like. Alex, Jacob, Chance, Ezri, Harlequin, Jacqueline, and TD Powell are all individuals who spend most of their time buried underneath a facade, a guise that’s bound to come undone. In fact, that’s the general idea of Jacob’s story, and the crux of everything that occurs. I do think he would be willing to live with it.
