Sense of Humor

A funny author(hopefully)

T

Pinkie Pie and Sunset Shimmer have always been best pals, but an unspoken distance has steadily grown between them...even when they share an apartment. After two and a half years of college with an age-old friend she's hardly spent time with, Pinkie Pie fears she may lose her when they both officially finish their school years. The bubbly girl has saved enough money to put herself and Sunset on a harmless road trip across the entirety of Idaho, in hopes of making up for missed time with her best friend.

When pretty much every part of it goes wrong in the wackiest ways possible for them, Sunset and Pinkie come to realize that friends don't need famous landmarks to grow as close as sisters.

So refreshing to find an actual friend-ship. I'm intrigued to see what shenanigans they get up to.

Thanks, I like proposing a friendship between these two. I take inspiration from that Netflix film The Fundamentals of Caring

“My vacation is this place. It's fun, I interact with people and I get paid for it.” She started. Many conversations about the subject of days off were had, and that was minor in comparison to talks about actually using her vacation hours. “I don’t need to go out of state to feel comfortable.”

Sunset, I think you're the only person in existence who enjoys working retail.

Really interesting read so far.

I hope this ends up a Pinkie/Sunset story. Keep it up regardless.

I do enjoy a good friendship story. No romance, just friends having a deep relationship. Don't see enough of those on this site. Glad to see this story didn't die off. One edit:

"That wasn't the truth, that was an insult to my skill set and personality!" Was the offended response." Was the offended response. "I passed my drivers test with flying colors."

Ah, me and my lovely ability to pass over mistakes.

Happens to the best of us.

Pinkie squealed loudly as she bounced over to the driver side of the RV and opened the door. “Thanks! My landing was a little spotty, admittedly--but I really think I nailed the aerodynamics in that flip spin, and the wind speed today was really low so of course that helped me out--wait, do you think we should go kite flying, cause that would be a really good idea given how its often windy in Idaho! Like the wind is just below hurricane level, at least if you ask me! Oh, did you know that people in Idaho have some amazing kites? It's not like they have giant kites, it's just that they're super cool and their boomerangs are authentic ! I thought you could only get authentic boomerangs in Australia ? Or is it Austria? They really oughta change the names so people don't confused. I mean, who's bright idea was it just take the name Australia and then subtract the 'AL' in it for a lesser known country? No, wait. State. Is Austria a state? It can't be a continent, because are waaaaay bigger. Maybe Austria is a town...yeah, its a town. Aus-town would be a better name."

As a native Idahoan, I can confirm that our winds get extremely high. Whoowee, it gets about 60 MPH in Pocatello, if I remember right.

I really hope this story continues, because I am loving it! 😂
