true, but aren't gundam just MS made of gundanium? honest question because as far as i know what make a MS a gundam was never truly set. if you actually some data or something explaining clearly the requirements for a MS to be named gundam aside of being made of gundanium just send it my way, i like to learn more about the lore. ^^

hi, i'll take the compliment to the one who helped me traduct french to japanese, as for your advice i'll take it to heart and in the future seek some editor, i just want to try to progress a bit first since i'm mostly self taught -curse our younger self and their refusal to pay attention in class- it's actually one of the reason i write, aside of wanting to fill the almost empty list of gundam/mlp crossover.

It's really up to sunrise for what is a gundam, the hazel gundam's aren't gundams because they are just Gm quils with gundam heads. But the Moon Gundam is a gundam despite being a Neo Zeon suit with a gundam head. But if you want give the Kshatriya a gundam face go ahead and call it a gundam go ahead.

hi and sorry for the late answer, happy you like the gundam choice for the main six, for the upgrades it will take time and be progressive and off course i wouldn't give twilight upgrade other couldn't get so the gundam from gundam wing may go beyond their old specs, for the question, i already can say yes, other gundam will appear, even mobil armor like the big zam, GADELAZA (fucking love this one, and it was to be mass produced XD) and off course the zeong, maybe even add a 'thing' to it
and with them many known characters from mlp and some~specials one~.
but it's for later, right now it's presentation and setup and if it go along like i want to the first real battle against enemy will appear in two to five chapters, it's hard to tell since i try to leave as little 'hole' as possible in my story and i really hate deus ex machina so i have to setup a lot before advancing the story and i sometime lose myself into explanations.
anyway, don't hesitate if you have questions, i like answering questions since it give me ideas and help writing the story.

I did have one question regarding the gundams (or all of them): Will each individual gundam be custom colored w/ decals (i.e. Pinkie having “Party Cannon” on the side of HeavyArms minigun arm) to fit their pilots personality and character, or just be in their default color palette?

hi, the gundam will have their colors from the anime at first and will eventually get a makeover after the main six bound with them in battle like a maiden flight. they are only prototype for now in a way at least from the equestrians point of view.

who can tell i write this with only a rough plotline, i have only the biggest events set in stone, the rest i have too many ideas and have to settle on one and give up the others, right now the contestant for the post are down to three.

can't she just I don't know reconstruct the "knightframe" into actual "mobile suits" along with other "ms" that she stole, change their interior design and mechanism so the enemies don't expect a thing ? and the stolen mechs could be used as a spy or to backstab/distract enemies during a fight?
oh and she better have an army of her own in the future I'd suggest the ones in Megas XLR or those kaiju jaegers from Pacific Rim 2

I've got a few OC's but most are not ponies, and i will need to change their backstory a bit to fit this story if they're accepted.
Oh I have an OC idea using the old ms army. My OC doesn't have a name but its an AI inside one of the old MS. Back story was that its previse owner was making the AI in secret as a side project short of thing. He died in battle and never finished the AI but he did get enough done so that the AI was active.
Over time it started to grow and think for it shelf and even begin to repair its MS. By the time they lost canterlot It was mostly rebuilt and had started to form its own personality. It has two sides to it's personality. There are formed from what memories it has left from his last pilot. When he was off the battle field he was a calm, somewhat cold pony. On the battle field he was a different pony all togiver. He was confident and extremely sure of him shelf. He also loved Battle. He love the threal, the life or death moments, but he also knew when to wait and see how it plays out.
This is what my OC two personality split between are. The calm and collect part and the ecstatic battlefield lover. The reason they haven't been founded by the changleing is that both sides know if they fight now they will lose and die. So there waiting for the reclamation of canterlot before they revile themselves and aid in battle.
Since there old none of there guns work but they do still have hidden ballads and did manage to steal themselves a beam blade from a stolen Gryffin model. Also heres and idea Of what I think my OC would look like.

Hi, sorry for late answer, I was thinking through my answer and making a trying to place your character to see how it would fit in.
First nice job you found out the subject of one of the "set In Stone event" I had in mind for a later on arc Wich is IA or silhouette, (silhouette are self improving autopilot for MS into gundam wing) so GG
Second it cause a bit of a pickle since an IA comming into light now would force the arc sooner than I'd like bUT...I can fit it in.
Let me explain, I can add your character as the prototype of the silhouette, a tallgeese/leo equivalent, (tallgeese are prototype of Leo but too good and costly so leo are made cheaper and easier to use) . IA are better than silhouette so it work, the appearance need to be from gundam, while I add technologies from others Mecha universe (cheat aside wink-wink guren lagan and Mecha bigger than planet.) I try to use gundam design only, for this one a standard MS like a zaku or GM
second, IA from old will be magic made since it was the 'go with' of equestria in the past Wich is the main reason for the losing streeck they were going through. Wich mean he cannot fight, the jammer would kill him.
So here the way it can fit in, first he is introduced in the next chapter as a new character and a veteran of wars. (if you have a name do share but pick something equestrian like or who has a relationship to it's original purpose it was made to imitate a living pilot after all so this g like 'copycat' or 'shadow system' are fine.
then he is explained In the following one. weakness like the one he has with the jammer will be the main subject, due to its weakness to magic, he would instead become -
erased to prevent spoil-, it's double personality is still here but instead we have the cold sciencetific one he picked up from the peoples developing him and the warlike straight to the point personality of it's time in services.Thats the best I can do to fit him In without him sounding out of place, i let you choose it's appearance using the link in the previous chapter author note and it name, if you have personality traits you'd like him to have PM them to me and I'll try to follow them alright?

You know whats funny. I haven't seen a single episode of Gundom, ever. The idea for this OC just came to me randomly.
Ok what Gundom would she be. Um I think Her base model would look a lot more like a RGM-79 GM just less buckle, her shoulder pads are longer with with tractable blades so she can stab people with them and add more killing power with a side slam, and having a red and blue color scheme.
Her name will be Freelock due to how her shoulder blades(hehe) work with being able to hook on targets and drop them.

No problem though I do think the archangel is a more impressive ship, though it doesn't seem to fit with the story.
hmmm, interesting. So Freelock has programs that hold her back in battle. I can see her getting around this a few ways.
One Is having her as a tactician officer in the back. She would used data from all surveillance cameras to help form strategies to help pilots win their fights.
Two would be her overwriting her own programming by force of will and joining to save her friends and ether leaving vicious or dying a heroic death.
Three is that she makes another gondom with her battle knowage that wouldn't have her limitations of her, marking the start or new robotic race.
Four is that I'm looking waaaaay too much into this and I should just enjoy the story and see how it plays out in the end..

her mother was pregnant before coming to japan but unaware of it, when she had her she didn't want to deal with all that came with having a baby in another country or even a baby at all and threw her in a trash, the MC was found and raised in a japan orphanage since her mother was unknown she was considered japanese and raised as such name and all, off cours she was still a caucasian woman in japan and an orphan so her life wasn't the most glorious one, most of it is explained into the prologue, and the rest is to come later into the story.
