Perhaps fortunately, the airborne roadway is a little easier to investigate; there's a rather convenient tunnel in the bottom of the crater it left behind.

I've got that same issue in a few cases. It doesn't only take plot ideas to continue a story, but other ideas as well... :(
Plus, my writing on ANY story relies very heavily on me being "in the mood" for it... For that particular story. For example, Fortress Equestria has an update scheduled for today- but it's not going to get it, because I'm utterly unsatisfied with what I have... and, at the moment at least, can't write better to save my life.

Though I wonder why the Bolo thinks launching a Squishy (well, technically, the tank crews referred to everyone else as Crunchies in the Aldenata* universe, but that was for armored infantry) four miles into the air is a good way to visit... and how much power (and med supplies) are remaining after repeatedly raining perforated pony parts all over that tramatized town...
Perhaps it would be wiser to build something (a ramp, or even a tower of empty missile tubes) out the VLS tube, or blow another hatch...
I liked the continual Hammerspace Tree Sap events, though!

XD It probably would be wiser, but she tried walking out once, and got Timberwolved... Not to mention, she did turn off all the smart parts of her mind.
As for power and med supplies, she started with flat nothing, and probably has a decent amount (of med supplies, at least) by now. Remember, she has no sense of time- and would therefore wait or slow down as much as necessary to accomplish her goal. Not to mention, growing a filly (modified or not) in her medical nanovat is going to take time, no matter how much power & supplies she has... I have this being the limiter.
We find out next chapter exactly what's going to place a limit on how many squishies she can send to orbit!

And of course she'll regrow her wings. I mean, she's regrowing new bodies every other Tuesday (figuratively, the actual timeframe is unspecified)... So at the very least, she has the capacity to perform such a miracle. All she has to do is eat enough and Medical will probably take care of that on autopilot.

Well yeah, she can regrow full bodies, but my question was with regards to the onboard nanites or whatever. I doubt it would be easy to get back to the main medbay.
I figured it would be likely, but wasn't sure if she'd care to regrow them, or consider that she might want to have them (I'm sure the implanted AG drive or whatever else is likely tucked away would render them moot anyway...).

Just a couple medical nanites can, with enough time (and if they don’t burn out), regrow a wing... and even if they do burn out, she’s got a damage control suite onboard to replace them. Bonus, they’re capable of self-replication!
Her grav coils would render it moot... If she had more than a 3-minute-per-day recharge rate, which she also mentioned. So, pay that attention bill, please!

If you remember the early chapters, she first installed them after the first half-dozen self-injuries. Just because she can make another body doesn’t mean she likes to, after all.
