Short, concise and easy going. A very nice prequel. Glad to finally have read. About the only thing I thought could be better was how the Cheerilee scene was done. She seemed a bit out of it, I assume she was just reeling from the shock of it all.
I have no complaints about this prequel. It did what it needed to do and conveyed the message it was trying to get across splendidly.
