This story is a sequel to A Queen's Perspective - Rainbow Rocks
The Portal that connects the Hive of Stripped Gear to Canterlot Highschool is closed once more, and yet one connection remains between the worlds. The journal Sunset had been given by Princess Celestia and the counterpart Celestia had for herself now serve as a means to communicate between them.
Having vowed to stay in contact the two commonly write to one another. This is the record of their correspondence.
Set in the continuity of the hive series starting immediately after AQP - Rainbow Rocks and ending partway through For the Hive.

I plan to set Legend of Everfree between the last two chapters of For the Hive (given that there is a convenient 1/2 year time skip between them). Beyond LoE, we'll see, especially since we know that EQG 5 is coming.

Well…how exactly do you intend the events of Friendship Games and Legend of Everfree to play out? Do you intend for Queen Twilight to take part in the Friendship Games and accompany the Main 7 to Everfree Camp? Or are you just going to have Queen Twilight meet and interact with Sci-Twi, like Princess Twilight did at the end of EQG 3?

I guess you'll just have to wait and see ... It shouldn't be too much longer. But it just so happens that Queen Twilight will be spending a week with her family (for reasons you should know if you 'read For the Hive') and leaving the journal unsupervised in her bedroom aboard the phoenix (which is why she'll be unreachable in this timeline)
I've made it my policy here to only show what changes in this timeline, as the majority of the frienship games will happen largely unchanged AQP Friendship Games will actually skip most of the movie and deal with the aftermath which will be a lot more extensive in this timeline. I can't really say more about that without spoiling everything, but I can say that it wiii change everything.
This just gets more interesting by the chapter.

If you find this interesting, just wait for Friendship Games when stuff actually happens. All I've been doing for almost all of this story is organizing, compiling and regurgitating information. With a bit of thinking anyone could have done it.
Pretty much all that is in this story is extrapolated from canon episodes, LAP's canon Timeline for season four, the canonical Friendship Games Shorts (still have two more of those coming) and what I could assume from infomation in the rest of the series.
