Whether strictly in the fandom or not, I have seen pegasus pluralized as pegasi, suggesting a Latin origin to the word. And, with that in mind, it made sense to me to apply Latin masculine and feminine suffixes to the word as appropriate: a female pegasus then would be a pegasa, two or more female pegasi would be pegasae, and so on. Thus, Rainbow Dash being a female, she'd be a pegasa.
okay, can someone explain to me what happened to rainbow dash to turn her into a friend killer or the ending which implies Scootaloo had gone down the same path that Rainbow dash had went down except for the friend slaying.
It was not established in story about wtf happened to the pegasi of this story other than something to do with machinery and some chaotic influence enough to strengthen discord.
