Yeah, I like to keep my stories self-contained these days. It’s easy to lose motivation when it comes to the chapter by chapter stories.
But yeah, Luna’s getting a comeback chapter and then that should be enough to show why the Princesses are as they upon Starlight’s arrival. Anything after that will probably be a sequel to Starlight’s arrival. Might even finally get that good ending people were craving.

Alright then. Having just finished the first part, I'm curious to see if there will be future installments. Maybe some side stories, an alternate origin for Twilight, or just Twilight's new daily routine.

If ever there was a way for those things to come about, this is how they’d come about. I’ve got Luna’s return to do to finish the arcs way back in the past. I’ve got a few ideas for this world’s Twilight and yes, I’ll even resolve the old timeline Twilight’s story too.
So I’ve got a lot to be thinking about. As far as side stories go, I could probably weave in some method of making extra futa characters. But we’ll see for now.
What does "an in-universe prequel" mean? Is it a story by an in-universe author?

It’s a prequel to another story I did, which sort of sets up the events that happen in that story. Or at least gives reasons for them happening as they do.
Like, the universe is the alternate Equestria created in the other story. So this is a prequel to the future events that happen in that universe. Hence in-universe prequel.
Wish we could have gotten more details about the rest of the volunteers.
