I liked it
It had interesting takes on the relationship between Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo, and between Scoots and Spike. Seems like fertile ground for storytelling, since all three (as far as I know) are all orphans. Both Scootaloo and Spike have a need for a surrogate mother figure.
Looking forward to seeing where the story goes!

What's wrong with RD x Twi? I've seen it many times and there are several extremely well written fics for exactly that.

1) I actually hate people saying that Rainbow Dash's lesbian. But i still read stories like those. I am retarded.
2) They're the EXACT opposite for each other. Rainbow Dash is even too "mad" for Twilight, and Twilight is too "egg-head" for Rainbow Dash. How could it work?
3) "RD x Twi" doesn't always means a good thing. In this case, it's pretty good. Still i could do a little of "friction" about those shipments.
And another thing: I'm not homophobic. I just hate people who uses Rainbow Dash's ways as memes.
I'll explain myself: "Rainbow Dash = lesbian" is like the "arrow to the knee" joke. It's overused now. Why not introducing an OC stallion or another character instead of those relationships between the mane six?
So Rainbow was just a bystander while Scootaloo almost cut herself. Element of Loyalty my flank.

I'm more than capable of dealing with this. Also I watch a LOT of Doctor Who so I'm used to plots that make no sense until you've seen it all (Matt Smith much?).
