Yep. There were a lot of things I didn't like about the first draft. Like how I had Sunset beat the crap out of Tirek, the guy who's supposed to be the main villain. Doesn't make him all that terrifying if the hero curb stomps him in the first chapter. I also wanted to go against the grain where everyone assumed that Sunset is some sort of warrior chic, and instead made her more likely to use her brain to solve a problem. The last thing I changed was the fact that Sunset is so depressed and hates herself so much that she feels like she deserves a slow and most painful death.

well, and with the first draft, tirek could have been dealt with easily. in only a couple chapters. with so much evidence and what not.
