“S-so it’s me?” She asks, looking up from the couch and into your gaze with the utmost trepidation. A single tear runs down her cheek.
“I just think we’re better off as friends,” you say. “And I don’t want anypony getting the wrong idea at this event.”
Rainbow Dash’s whine corresponds perfectly her heart breaking in two.

There are ponies out there who consider this the best ending. Too bad for them, they are missing out.
But seriously, this is worst ending only for Rainbow Dash, because the reader/protagonist/me don't give a flying feather. I thought a worst ending would leave the reader/protagonist/me either in physical or emotional pain, or at least at any kind of disadvantage. Like the ones where a bad ending gets the reader killed, or being jailed, or being dumped, or getting their heart broken, etc. Or Starlight Glimmer having a crush on them and wanting to be their special somepony.
