Guilt-ridden and lonely, Flim arrives at Flam's grave with the last three mugs of their cider, planning to spend the whole night drinking and crying. However, when a certain blue unicorn shows up, his night turns out differently than he expected . . .

As he and Trixie trade stories, Flim begins to wonder if, maybe, he doesn't have to be so lonely without Flam.

Weird... I was just thinking about what a story starring the Flim Flam Brothers and Trixie would be like. Color me curious.

That was very good! I've always fealt bad for Trixie, but the way you put this together, I think I could see the two of them happy. :pinkiehappy:

Have a like, favorite, follow, and a dragon with a stache. :moustache:

The second to last sentence feels jarring to me. The story overall seems to be a shift from horrible sadness to delicate warmth, but that little reminder at the end brings me back to the former. I follow Flim's feelings with my own throughout the story, but in the end I'm thinking of the thing he isn't thinking of, so I'm back to being a little bit horrified while he's laying there content.

Otherwise I quite enjoyed the story. I never considered the Flimflam Brothers to be "villains" in the traditional sense, so I like how they're portrayed as loving and playful brothers until the end. They aren't callous; they don't see each other as disposable; they're best friends, family, partners, and they know right from wrong even if they choose to cross the line on occasion. Thank you for giving them and Trixie the capacity to learn from their mistakes rather than fall for the same old vices that ruined them before.

Short, but sweet; cleverly detailed, with the addition of the solid backstory. I never considered this shipping, but now that I think about it, they'd make a cute couple
Overall, a great fanfiction that has earned my like and fav!
Keep up the good work! :pinkiehappy:

980039 Yeah, I suck at endings. Either they'll be sort of random and jarring or they'll be completely corny and they'll sound like the ending of a bad children's show.

I dunno, it sounded good to me! Maybe because where i'm from these corny lines and such help me get by and such. It was really good actually, and i salute you for your storyline. I hate the TrixiexFlim or flam stories,so i grimaced when i saw this, but gave it a chance anyway. Let me tell you i not only begin to like this ship, but feel the story told it in such a way it'd be hard to resist not approving it. Continue making good stories my friend, for they fill me and many others with love and hope!
