Dude, no. Displaced at least waits to turn me when I start reading the story. You...look, the little intro looks bad. The forced! Enthusuasm! Like college radio jocks! It's a hacky put-on you see from radio hacks and bad salesmen. The whole "Imma pretend to be a fourth wall breaking character! LOLIMRANDUMXD" is juvenile and almost as bad a turn-off.

Granted my team just lost, but I know I'd still have typed that even if they'd won. Everything presented to a prospective reader for their first glance looks like hooks designed by Benjamin Bornstein or Mancow.

That was a train wreck, complete with fire, screaming, and general unpleasantness. You certainly distilled the mind numbing power of Maud, but that is not a good thing.
I'M just glad that happened in the beginning, stuff like that somehow always interrupts me while reading.
I know I should not take the romance part seriously but I don't really liked the story.
