A day without Button Mash is a day not acceptable to live through at all. She was rightfully deemed the most likeliest foal to succeed in the world, and by Celestia's mane she lived up to it. Plaques, awards, trophies, they showered her, her music, and her charity with so much love and attention. Through all of this, it seemed nearly impossible to accomplish without her favorite stallion back at home, in Ponyville.
They were once lovers, but now they were no longer friends. How can you be friends with the dead that you couldn't save? The days get harder, the nights get longer, and the drive to keep inspiring whittles away as time wears her down.
Sweetie couldn't save him, despite her secretly yearning for their relationship once more; and had encountered the tragedy before her eyes, on the day she was going to visit him in a pleasant surprise.
Now, even the Rain seems Hideous.
On the rare occasion that I do cry, it’s never out of emotion. Bravo for hitting me hard enough in the feels, to make me shed a few tears.
Thank you, for such a beautiful sequel to such a cruel start much of my feelings of depression were really tugged on this and i have a LOT but right now I am satisfied with this ending, thank you for such a great ride of experience
