UPDATE: I hate to do this, but I am putting this story on hiatus for now, for a number of reasons:
1) I am currently rethinking how I want to story to play out and the main plot points. Some of the original idea is staying the same, but there are some other major changes I'm making, especially in the backstory department, that affect the story as a whole (maybe I didn't completely plan everything out fully before I started writing). When I eventually come back to this, it will probably look quite different.
2) I am also currently focusing on another story at the moment, one that is already finished, but I wanted to improve. I'm still thinking about this story as stated above, but it isn't my main priority right now.
3) My motivation for writing in general has tapered off over the last 2 years. I still love doing it, but I hardly did any writing during lockdown and even now I struggle to sit down at my desk and get anything done.
Trust me, this story isn't cancelled by any means. I never want to do that. It's just a VERY slow process for me right now. I will come back to this eventually. I don't know when, but I'm still working on it on the side.

Darren's story is not over. Not by a long shot.

Synopsis: I have been having weird dreams for as long as I could remember. People normally have weird dreams, but not dreams that warn them about the future. My "dreams" haunt my sleep and give me a constant buzz in my brain when I am awake. One night, however, my "dreams" took a turn for the insane, showing me something that made absolutely no sense, leaving me confused and unsure when I awoke.

Unfortunately, despite the absurdity of the "dream", it was in fact true, and I am now trapped in a world straight out of a children's TV show. I don't entirely know what to make of this situation I have found myself in. I would be helpless right now... If it wasn't for the fact that I had already lived through this only a few hours prior. I must be careful about how I react to my visions, because the choices I make could cause things to change for the better... or for the much, MUCH worse.

In line with the main canon up until the end of Season 8.
