This doesn't make much sense. If the spell was never broken, how could they have possibly defeated Discord? They couldn't use the Elements of Harmony while they were corrupted.

The only reason they weren't able to use the Elements was because Rainbow Dash wasn't there, if she was there they probably would of been able to use them
