Because of Anon-A-Miss Sunset's life has been ruined. Now she just wants to start anew. After she pawns off everything she owns, she takes to the streets to travel and find a family that actually cares about her.
This story is meant to be something to get me back into writing. I will use this to practice and relax. That means that there won't be a steady update schedule. Still, ill try. Sorta. No promises though.
Oh, and I won't be getting a proofreader for this one. I want to see how well I can do without personal help.

I got to ask why hasn't Twilight responded, it seems she too has abandoned Sunset as well.
I really liked this intro chapter. The message to Twilight at the beginning was especially interesting, and now I'm wondering why she never replied (and what might be going on at CHS after two weeks of Sunset missing).
I just hope that the man giving her a ride is actually a friendly individual and that this doesn't take a dark turn right at the start.
I'm also not sure if this counts as an AU story, unless you have more things in Sunset's backstory planned.

Glad to see this isn't dead yet, and I hope to read more soon. Glad to hear author is recovering; I find doing things helps me ward it off.
I can relate to the depression, it can be near impossible to write while in a bad funk, though I find writing in short bursts usually works best. I do also hope you continue the story, as it feels like almost like a warm hug reading about how Sunset is being taken care of, and I'm really enjoying it.

Interesting. I personally stopped myself from “you too” by forcing myself to lengthen the statement to “to you as well”. At least for me the moment I take remembering to say that instead gives me time to focus on wether it is actually an appropriate response.

106129 Unfortunately, It won't be unless I somehow break free of my responsibilities and depression. The past several years of my life have been strenuous and especially last year in particular. Betwixt covid, poverty, nigh-homelessness, finishing up my last year of high school, and overall suffering at the hands of indiscriminate reality, I've lost all of my motivation, notwithstanding that Buck was based on someone very close to me and that person betrayed my trust heavily by falling into drugs and abusing me and my family. I fear to say that I lack the willpower to write of a being who I once knew and deceived myself into caring for and loving.
I had plans for the story before everything began and I'm willing to share them though. Heck, maybe I'll somehow continue this and change it up but it will need new plans which I don't have the energy to create. Maybe three years from now, ha...
