Good story, really sweet, but the constant annotations were really distracting. Half of those details should've been worked into the description more naturally, or just left out altogether because they detract more than they add by their format and inclusion. It seems like a lot of your work suffers from a lack of polish, which is criminally unfair to the quality of writing that you are obviously capable of.
You do good stuff, but I think your work would benefit greatly from just a teeny bit of smoothing out the dents.
