I just finished reading the main fic and this off-shoot. So let me sum up my feelings on both here.
This one was pretty funny. I enjoy the idea that Chrysalis is so bad she can't even eat chicken without dying.
The main fic. I loved it. I'm eagerly awaiting the next update. I enjoy the idea that Chrysalis isn't some tactical genius who only loses due to unfortunate (although, I suppose, depending on which side you belong to it could also be fortunate) circumstances. But she loses because she's awkward, unable to read situations and just blunders through her problems.
A great example is the intelligence department. Chryssi didn't destroy it as a scorched earth policy to deny the ponies valuable information about Changelings. She destroyed it because they caught her doing something embarrassing and one of the drones inadvertently insulted her.
All in all, a solid fic on both ends and I'm looking forward to seeing more chapters in the future. Also, the Chryssi fanart is appreciated as well.

I can respect that. I recognize that these alternative chapters are going to be rather polarizing when it comes to taste and preference. That's why I decided to keep it non-canon and separate from the main plotline; rest assured, I'm not going to end the actual story like that. Hopefully, it will be satisfying for most!

I can't fault you. This chapter(s) is/are certainly not going to be everyone's cup of tea, and that's fine. It's the primary reason I separated it from the main story. With that said, I may be adding more chapters later, and I do hope that they will be more enjoyable for everyone in the future. Thanks for reading!

Hm, that was far less gory than I expected from the "advertising", Faust knows there are some really psychopathic fics out there. Just saying. I'm indifferent towards this chapter because I can choose it not to be canon and hope that the canon story turns out to take a spin towards the sappy end :P .

Well, admittedly it's not as gory as it the warnings may have implied, but then again, that's all in the eye of the beholder.
