It's surprisingly difficult to find decent art with both Soarin and Lane that doesn't need to be cropped to hell and back. I saw this, went "close enough", and just hoped no one would notice/care.

Oh no! i completely understand...it's hard to find cover art to exactly or perfectly match the story that's being told/shown.
p.s: ya know don't remember how many months ago this was but the first story I ever read of yours is where spitfire got double teamed by soarin & thunder lane. pegasus bros for life! No brainer was the title. also rarely read straight fics unless they're written well.
