Princess Celestia sends Twilight Sparkle and her friends to investiage dragon activity in the Smokey Mountains. There, they discover a human named Allen, who's ended up on their world by accident and needs their help to find a way home.
Okay so this still feels very rough and mechanical so far. Also I may be repeating myself here but Allen still feels like her is missing something that is key to his presentation. I still can't say what though.
Other observations are that a wall around Ponyville just doesn't work at all as world building even in context. It's just was too out of place to work. That's all for now, I'll probably have more when I can finish reading the chapter.
Holding up the weapon, Allen admired its covering. “This…is…so…cool! Ahh.” He lightly shuddered with delight as he slowly unsheathed the sword. Its polished blade glistened in the ambient sunlight giving it an almost mirror-like surface. “Wow…” Allen gasped as he pulled the blade out the rest of the way.
Okay now we're seeing some depth out of Allen. In the overall his interactions are feeling less "wooden" this time around.
On the other hoof though, he still needs more fleshing out. However he is not coming off so two dimensional now though, but he still seems a little, blank for the lack of a better word.
I thought unless you were really strong, it would be a trial to hold one of these.
Spend a few hours swinging it around and bashing it into a wooden target without a break, and see if you still feel it's easy to hang on to. Then you'll understand why just picking it up in the first place isn't actually the mighty feat of strength Hollywood would have one believe.
Personally, I'd ask if the ponies have any jodo practitioners. The simple practicality and versatility is better than a flashy sword. (Sucks that the SCA doesn't like samurai personas).
As I remarked on another fic: Considering how swans and geese attack by battering with their wings and pecking, Pegasai developing a fighting style similar to the rapid slapping and lightning-fast short-range jabs of Wing Chun and other Southern Fist schools makes a lot of sense.
Also, if Pegasai have birdlike hollow bones and an innate sense for air currents, it would make sense for them to adopt Tai Chi-like philosophies of force and circular movements and seldom meeting force directly with opposing force.
9761920 Yes, this is an active story. I fell behind here on FimFiction, while researching ways to improve my writing. But I'm back in force now. I have the chapters of this story outlined (currently set for 21 chapters all together). And chapter 6 is drafted and chapter 7 is about half way drafted. Currently, I'm working on my older stories. But this one won't be forgotten and is slated for an update either late this month or early September at the lastest.
Thanks for the chapter
I will wait for the next one
Oh? Is this a history between Regelas and Blade? Were they lovers? Comrades? This intriguing intreplay has me wondering. Hmmmm.

Good luck, kid.

Sharpen you blade skills bro., you'll need more than basic skills.
See you next chapter.
Personally, I'd ask the blacksmith to make me a pair of hand cannons. Shouldn't be too hard, even for a medieval blacksmith.
Looking forward to see more I hope very soon. :)

The next two chapters are currently in the works.
Oh good grief....more please.
