Discord's seen a lot in his time. Poor Fluttershy is about to see the absolute worst of the worst. In order to rescue his best friend, he has to return to one of the most uncomfortable and sickening dimensions he's ever been to. It's full of dead eyed ponies that laugh at everything and all look the same; there's no telling what will happen to Fluttershy if Discord doesn't find her in time.
This is pretty tongue in cheek, and a lot of jokes at the expense of G3 MLP. It is coming from a place of authenticity however; I grew up with and enjoyed G3 greatly. Now that I'm a sorta adult and in love with G4, I felt like taking a crack trip down memory lane. Plus, I personally think G3.5 is far worse.

It's funny too, I grew up with this you know. It's absolutely ridiculous how fluffy and inconsequential G3 MLP is, but I'm also getting waves of nostalgia while watching it. I can't really bring myself to hate it, but man is it fun to riff on. Especially if Discord is involved.

Nostalgia will do that to people. No matter how bad it is, it makes you want it back.
Personally, I'm just waiting for Discord to go off on a humongous rant when he finally finds Flutters and absolutely rip into the G3.5 universe and everything about it (metaphorically speaking).
You had a dream about Discord and Fluttershy?! Man, I wish I was lucky enough to have dreams like that. Mine are mostly just distorted, almost always hard to remember, and make little sense. I once had a dream about ponies, I believe, but I barely remember what events took place. All I remember is that Rainbow Dash wouldn't stop asking me to race her.
But this is such a fun story! As much as I kinda like G3, it's always fun to poke at it like this. I'll be tracking this one for sure!
