8723990 I absolutely understand the concern for that, or the bringing up of it in the story. It's taken from a concept I've seen people in actual sub/Dom relationships talk about, where the Dom has the right to fuck the sub at any time they want, even if they're not really in the mood. Yes, it's technically with consent, as the Dom has CONSTANT consent, but it's to invoke the feeling of a loss of power and such like that.
As for this story being rape... Yeah, trust me, that was a real concern of mine, and I did all that was in my power to not only do this topic justice/right, but also to avoid it being rape.

If you see it otherwise, then okay, but this is something that unfortunately our regular definition of such a term isn't going to be able to fully provide an answer for due to the magical nature of it.

I know what you meant but the way you said it is a massive turn off. Under this implication, Twilight is only using Rainbow for sex. That's not healthy. That's not good. That's emotional manipulation and is what gives the Dom/Sub stuff a bad rap. It's not healthy, it's one of the worst things you can do. Ugh.
And this is where Twilight does something stupid. She made the mistake of not verifying it. From what we've read, Twiight's been domineering to an extreme degree, even going so far as nearly ruining Dash's friendship with Fluttershy (very bad form). And then, when she presents a plan to alter the personality of her sub to an insane degree, she doesn't calm them both down and talk about it, she enters in with the roleplay.
She comes in and acts domineering, gets her flustered, makes her want to have sex... and then offers the choice, still in the roleplay scenario, with no indication to Rainbow that she can say no and end the scene. Bleck! This isn't consent, this is roleplay! "Turning someone into a bimbo whore" isn't something you lead up to with roleplay if you're actually going to do it!
I'm sorry, but I just... this line ruined the story for me. It went from good dom/sub to bad dom/sub to rape. And I write a story with mind control and altering personalities! I cross the line of consent, but at least I recognize the fact in story, and don't ask for consent. This makes it worse as it treats consent as something that can be given easily, during the middle of sex, which, no. That's not how it works.]
