Thanks to encouragement of a long-time friend, Laxed Nightfire finally decides to follow his life-long dream of setting out into the vast unknown.
But with newly discovered monsters, and mysterious strangers around every corner, he finds more than he's searching for, and finds himself needing to just survive, rather than seek out adventure.
Having to beat the odds many times, it might not look as bright for this pony as he might've hoped for, and he's got more barking up his tree than he'd need.

I want it to have story to it, with both humor, encounters, love(Clichè, sue me), action and hinders he must overcome, one way or another, without many fillers where nothing really happens(Because that means the fanfic has lost its charm, and it's only being dragged out for the most possible words, and in hopes of keeping the fans around)

Okay. There are a few who seems to read this. I don't know if they are coming back frequently, or new people discover it, but one way or another, I have yet to get much feedback.
Question: Would you guys like longer chapters, or do you like the sudden random cliff hangers? I can easily extend each chapter, and write multiple events in one, but that will probably remove some cliffhanger events, or the sudden transfer from one chapter to another. I am asking readers

There is at least one thing I'm failing at... I know it far too well, since English isn't my native language. Lack of words. I probably abuse the same words over and over at certain ponts.
Another thing is probably that I use their names too many times, or the same ways to reffer to characters, to replace the names. I'm trying to find new things to reffer to them as, but I'm having some trouble, forgive me for that.
If you've got the answer for either, please leave suggestions!

1023385 That actually makes me very happy. Don't get me wrong, I don't like causing pain to everything I see and know.
But when the reader actually gets lost enough into the story to imagine the pain the characters are feeling, I feel it's a job well done.

PS: Fair Warning. I will possibly not write any more upcoming chapters for Celestia knows how long, due to upcoming events, starting at around Sunday to Monday. Not sure which, but it's either or, I can promise you that much. Therefore, I will try to finish the arc I currently have going, so I don't leave a cliff-hanger for ages. No promises though!

1066352 And my guess as to why is because it couldn't really be 'Considered' an ending. But as mentioned, real life calls, and so, I would either have to give it an ending for now, or leave it at some point where it would have no updates for a year
