Now that i have read it, here are my thoughts....it's pretty decent
The writing itself is good, the characterization of Luna and Jax is well done and the dialogue is amusing.

My only complaint is the literal anti-climax, i just felt bad for Luna, but as you said in the description, this is supposed to be a realistic take on virgin sex and yeah, the first time is special but never the best.

Overall i liked it and i am looking forward to the next update of the main story

I Agree that the anti-climax was .. well disappointing lol
But also - I mean you are the author you can make the characters how ever you like- and who's to say what ponies do or don't have - since this is fic but ...
“I’m sorry.” He gave her a sheepish smile. “Ponies don’t have hymens, so I thought….” ...."
Ponies/horses do have hymens .. in the real world that is - but I suppose, who's to say whether or not equestrian ponies do :)
