It may have been because I had to do some hasty editing after I had published it. I "unsubmitted" the story while I fixed it, it was only for a minute or two.
In retrospect, I probably didn't need to do that, but I panicked because it was a glaring plothole.

I did see that a few years ago, I thought it was great. The ending 'Narf' especially is perfect. And I have actually been thinking about how to do a 'mash-up" intro video for the story that combines the shows clips to post at the top of each chapter.

But seriously, I actually have several ongoing stories at the moment, both MLP related and stories in my Godzilla|Marvel crossover world, so one of those is probably going to get my primary focus next. Though, given the relatively small episode size I want to keep for PnTB-OE, I might be able to work on it here and there.

It's a shame this fanfic hasn't gotten more attention. Pinky and the Brain are perfectly IC and their dialog and references match the tone of their show. I suppose not very many MLP fans have watched PATB. They're missing out, because this first chapter shows a lot of promise. I like how Pinky and the Brain end up in the Castle of the Two Sisters first and then they slowly find out that they're in another world altogether - it's a nice change of pace from the usual crossover or Displaced fanfic in which the character immediately starts out in Ponyville or Canterlot.

Well thanks for your kind acclaim, I had been marinating on this story for quite some time before I finally pushed myself to finish it.
A very important element for me concerning fan-fiction, is maintaining character integrity. In this, and in my Godzilla/Marvel crossover, I always do research and character study to make sure I'm getting them right as best I can. I made sure to watch some episodes of PATB while writing to make sure I catch all the signature elements of the show.
Part of me ws concerned that a lot of readers wouldn't know about PATB because they're too young. Hell, I was in my early teens when the show was on, and I know MLP is generally a much younger fandom.
I LOVE this idea! I really look forward to reading more. I can't wait to see how the Mane Six react to these new kind of enemies.
Also i'm curious when in the MLP timeline does this story start?

This is a very special project for me, since PATB was my favorite show for the time it was on. And I really wanna do the best job I can with it.
As for when it happens in the MLP world, I'll just tell you not to think too much about it. Twilight is a princess, and has a castle. Where exactly it might fall into the canon timeline isn't something that this story is concerned with.
