Sunset Shimmer has been happily living in Canterlot as a rather normal person for three years now. A normal person living with her dedicated girlfriend and working on beginning what she hopes to be a long, solid career. She's been living her dream of a normal person.

Okay, so Rainbow is Dean, Sunset is Sam, they are not siblings, Twilight and Shining seem to be taking place of John Winchester from the pilot, maybe Twilight and Shining take the main story role of Sam&Dean Idk. This is interesting, I'd love for you to continue this story.

Thanks! I do intend to continue the story one day, but it's a pretty big story to try and undertake at the moment. Maybe I'll work on it over the summer.
Okay, so I finally got time to finish this and here's some continued speculation from my previous comment, Twilight is John Winchester, Rainbow is definitely Dean, Sunset is Sam, but they're not siblings, maybe Sunset and Shining are the siblings? I'm slightly confused as to how the family tree here works. Again I ask for the continuance of this story and say don't be afraid of going off the rails of both mlp and spn.

I definitely don't intend to fully follow the plot lines of either, mainly because it would be a sort of detriment to the characters and I want people familiar with SPN to feel like they're reading something fresher and not an MLP re-skin of SPN. I'm hoping I blend them together in a satisfying way, but my own pressures are somewhat scaring me off. I'm glad you like it as much as you do, though!
