The main problem for me with Anon-A-Miss fics is that they keep reminding me of its existence every time I almost manage to push it out of my memory. It's like people kept writing fixfics for Highlander II.
Well, that's as solid a patch job for Anon-A-Miss as any I've seen, though I'm pretty sure the comic itself cannot be canon to the EG movies. Still, multiversal shenanigans and temporal paradoxes are always a fun time, at least in worlds with magic. And yes, I'm including Doctor Who in that statement because Time Lord science is basically magic. I'll wager any of the modern Doctors could give Celestia herself a run for her money. Fanfic writers, you know what to do!

As for Ditzy's plan... Well, "plan" is being generous. At this point in her life (which is before CGSO,) she's basically spending a decent chunk of her weekends wandering around probability space and poking her head into whatever worldlines catch her fancy.
Also, "stumbling through wormholes" isn't the best description of Ditzy's abilities. She doesn't need the wormholes; with her wings spread, she can move freely in seven dimensions, as her icon indicates.

Yeah, Anon-A-Miss doesn't really make any sense at all. If only because, as you say, if Sunset was regressing back to villainy, she'd be way better and less obvious at it.

It did have a plot that wasn't just indignant bashing the parent story while displaying a tenuous grasp on the events or motivations of the plot. So props on that end. For that matter it was more of a story set around the events of Anon-A-Miss rather than in it, so originality points gained for that angle.
The only real gripe I have is that it feels...short. I like that the solution was quick and reasonable (if amusingly supernatural) but unless Ditzy learns from this experience then it feels like this story, despite being set in Oversaturated meta-continuity, has little consequence.
I feel like the story's title is a reference to something or a play on words. But I can't think of what and it's bugging me.
Anon-A-Miss could not touch the beauty that is derpy.

Interesting and entertaining
I haven't read many Anon-a-Miss fixfics, so beyond knowing that there's a general oversaturation of them (eh?) I don't have much to compare this to, but it's pretty entertaining and feels original. I love how the universe literally breaks from how bad the comic's continuity was, because as rediculous as it is, it's entirely appropriate. The Holiday Special was so bizarre, you almost can't explain it any better than that.
