Hey, maybe some people were a bit dissatisfied with the lack of super hot ApoJet smut you've been spoiling us rotten with.

Me personally? I find it's a nice light-hearted comedy that fits in with the whole ApoJetverse you've managed to created. A filly like Apogee likely has some MASSIVE needs that a cheap (albeit huge) dildo just can't properly fulfill.

Geez, Jet really needs to make it up to his daughter for leaving their special day together for so many weeks now. He's gotta have something big prepared for Apogee if he wants her happy. Although, this makes me question why there's a restriction to do spend time as lovers ONLY on Tuesday. Why not once a week, if a restriction is necessary? They could have their 'special' day on Wednesday or any other day if Jet's schedule is inconsistent.

It'll be explained in Any Landing, eventually... but basically Jet's trying to keep some semblance of normality in their lives. The compromise he has struck is that it is normal-times for the pair, except on Tuesdays... and when Apo is in heat (once a year). The fact that he's not around on some Tuesdays is just part of his normal CEO-lifestyle, a different day wouldn't make any difference.

My esteem for Delta keeps on rising, I now understand it must have cost her a much greater sacrifice than I initially anticipated to afford the gift for her daughter. I didn't catch it at first, but she truly does love her filly.

I'm a fan of how this story ties in with the other works of the ApoJet universe, the numerous references make for a solid correlation and set up a meaningful connections between many different works.

Replacement parts are hardly ever nearly as good as the original, unless you have the genuine article.
I doubt Jet would get rid of his own just because of this, though

Maybe a make a molded for those times when he's not at home? It won't be the same, but it's something. And Apogee might be glad for that as well!
... that might be an interesting Hearth's Warming gift.
Especially if Delta barges in to spend time with her daughter during that time.

I do wonder if it will all eventually lead to that in some event in the future of Apojet once several Tuesdays have passed. The mentioned hint dropped of Apogee's birth control having a small chance to get her PREGNANT, and Diamond pointing it out it's legally possible with some work, seems like a lot of foreshadowing to be just some sort of coincidence. I would love to see the drama that unfolds if that happens. Certainly would be an interesting problem to work through.
