I agree with you about how some of the authors do put too much detail in the world. Some of them are a little too defensive. They try to answer questions that no one has asked yet. Some of them just love to throw in details like oh there are no guards there because they went on coffee break. And that can subtly or drastically change the mood of the story by putting it in. Others might try to go into detail about the object itself especially if it involves something stronger than the princesses. And the authors will think, so it's just a little detail to make the story plausible. I can see it being important if they want it to be more than just a One-Shot or if they plan for it to be clop with a plot. But beyond that, we don't need to know who forged the gem in the necklace or the ring or whatever someone got to take control. If it's going to be a One-Shot just give us more details on that poontang
