No, I'm now going to tell you what the floor was like, the sound his feet made upon touching the said floor, or any of the finer details about their lives, or the scene that they are in, how the air smelled or if there was rain pelting against the window.

Definitely a nice story that, to me, gives perspective on the creative process along with how life exists based on what we make of it. There are days where our lives filled full of color, sound, and feelings. Then there are days that are much like an abyss where everything is dark, unknown, and a bit scary. The point being that we must strive to find the best balance each day while knowing those moments in the proverbial 'Abyss' are but temporary.

When I've entered my 'Abyss' I have noticed a good night's rest can help to bring back the color, feels, and sounds of life. A tired mind certainly can be far more self-harming than one that has been recharged through restful slumber.

Thanks for a fun story that made me think. :)
