At the time when I first started reading this I was still fairly new to CGOTG. I thought it was just a group thing without it actually being all the same world. Given the fact that in Echo's story Griffin was an ACTUAL pirate and not a revolutionary like the Griffin story where Griffin and Echo become near-buddies I had thought that each fic, while connected, went however the author wanted.
That was quite some time ago. I just saw no need to actually change the comment.
Also, 'spoof' isn't a word, or if it is, the only place I've heard it used was in Disney's Peter Pan by the kid in the rabbit suit. I thought it was a text-sound effect for a soft fart.

Is this story going to update at any point!!!!!!!!!!!! This is in my opinion one of the best CGoTG's stories on the site and it actually has a likable and relate-able protagonist! It also is hilarious and so many glorious references and a perfect plot!!!!! Also, I love the video game format! So....any ETA on next chapter/update?

You've reached 666 like. Come on, man. At the very least, give us a blog post of it's status or a silver lining of hope. Hell, I would totally be ok with a rework if that's what holds you up. Change it if it must, you are the author with the vision of this story, so go with it! As I said before cannon or not, many of us here say it doesn't matter. Honestly, we just want him to get his "I'm over 9000!!!" achievement! Maybe it'll come with an avatar award. Who knows?
