The Sky Carousel is a reference to the Sky Bandit from the original story as that is the model of air transport it was.

Yeah I'm sticking to PipBuck as it makes the most sense for some reason to my eyes.

And yes, Corners is also the Box Pone of many names that it makes you think about Sugarcubes.

We gathered at the door, which Buddy lined up and then slammed into. The flimsy trailer door didn't stand a chance and flew off its hinges. Friendly loud reminder, don't piss off the sand dog. There was a loud slam and a pulping noise as the door impacted into the corpse of the other pony inside. I looked around and realized that Corners and Chifundo were not near us. I looked at EFS and saw that two dots were in front of me, either inside or on the other side of the trailer. These two were marked as the two ponies in question.

Uhh... Nyota was the one to buck the door off its hinges.

This chapter is the most quotable one so far, for many, many reasons.

I love a quote that you can give to others and inspire them, and this is one of those.

"... And remember, if you ever go feral, would you want to be left that way?”

I liked this line because it draws on the morality of comics like the 'Walking Dead,' is it wrong or is it right? You'd think it would be the right thing to do but, what remains and is it suffering? You never ever know...

If I ever find a way to make that my motto in life, it is going to happen. Brilliant line, and brilliant humor throughout this chapter again. You have a great sense of laying on drama, 'humanity' in pony form, action, and comedy in your work. It is a real pleasure to read.

The fans have helped me get a ton of artwork done so there is a piece in every single chapter; not always story relevant but there is one none the less.

In addition to this, there was a guard tower built from scrap metal: a ladder torn off the machinery, and a lifter basket at the top for someone to stand watch in.

They made the effort to build a guard tower, left it unmade (unhorsed?) and left a weapon behind for anypony to grab. These guys are the worst Raiders every.

Normally I would also call them out for not chasing after the group, but they probably stumbled upon Bronco’s remains and the destroyed murder bot, realized that they were outgunned and wisely decided to back off.

“Don't knock on doors! You're going to get us all killed!” she declared. I looked at the filly, very surprised to say the least. Just for that I'm knocking on every door before we go in.

Very inmature and a great way to get you all killed.

And we got a flashback that tells us more about Sunrise past. I like that her parents seem to have very different opinions, with her father being more open-minded while her mother seemingly is very distrustful of non-ponies.

“Oh ya know, post war and megaspells, the Filly Scouts collection efforts got really aggressive,” she said, and she noticed the impression this had left on me.

The Post War Filly Scouts are basically a crime syndicate. Instead of demanding protection money they force ponies to buy their cookies and when they don’t pay, they end up death? That’s hilariously awesome. Something tells me that will play an important role in the story.

“Why couldn't you convince me to turn from my evil ways! Why couldn't I get a second or third chance! Why! Why, you stupid little filly?” he shouted at me.

Awfully judgmental, aren’t we? You threw away your second chance by luring the group into a trap that could’ve killed them.

Of course, this all is just in Sunrise’s mind. That filly went through a lot in the last few couple of hours, being thrown into a post-apocalyptic wasteland and all that.

Since this is based on the adventures of a P&P round I can’t help but wonder, what’s going to happen if Sunrise gets killed. There’s no resurrection in this setting* and if a fight goes badly it could be game over for her. Which becomes more problematic the longer the story goes on and the more character development she receives. Iimagine Littlepip dying to a random Enclave trooper shortly before she reached the S.P.P. control tower. That would be a bit anti-climactic.

Not saying that I want her to die, but that’s something you have to keep in mind as writer when you write a story based on your P&P character in an on-going campaign.

Second: There are many things happening that even I am only partially aware of. So let's get this started:

Guardtower Raider: Heard the Sentry Bot go boom and ran away!

Immature: No Sunrise believes in the old world and Corners contradicting her as well as the earlier actions of Corners make her at adds with the box pone!

Filly Scouts = Wasteland Mafia and they're adorable! Buy our cookies or we break your kneecaps!

Awfully Judgement, yes, she is dealing with the ramifications of her actions; something Blackjack fails to do constantly! She is new to their wasteland and NOT acting like a Player Character (like LittlePip and Blackjack) but a character. Think of how I play characters as I do not know anything outside of what they would and I constantly act different from how they do in real life. This is my first time playing someone with a moral code directly against killing and who would rather talk first and even talk when fighting then keep shooting.

That last comment, the surprises that come my way concerning it are insane! Also the main plot.

I'm warming up to the story. Fun, casual, playful - at least so far. Game-like indeed. It's fun guessing which parts were determined by dice rolls.

I took a bite and suddenly everything got a lot darker around me. I felt strange, and my eyes went out of focus. I lost almost all my peripheral vision. The shadows of every object came to life and animated in a way that was terrifying and made me recoil away. The window behind me opened as Waffles put her fore-hooves and head out, “Now which cookies did I... oh... have fun, deary!” she shouted out, closing the window with a noise that sounded ten times louder than it should have been.
