This is a nice fic so far. I am seeing a fair amount of grammar errors, but other than that, I am intrigued by the pacing and character setup. The passages about the performance that Octave lead was an interesting viewpoint that I hadn't thought of when thinking of music.

I do need to get this bad boy edited and I don't think I will carry on writing it until I manage to find someone willing to do it, but thank you for the kind words! I have a lot of plans for this fic and once I get it edited I can assure you that there should be a lot higher standard for my own writing afterwards.
