Yes!!! Love that you have this as a shared world instead of a seqeul. A companion. A story that stands on its own. Though I loved Bark at the Moon, that was its own story and was told. Love this. Instant Tracking and a instant favorite when it is done.

I must say, I didn't expect for you to write in Maud's perspective. Knowing how emotionless she seems to be on the outside, it must be tricky to write in her perspective while making sure she's in character.
Or I'm just not good enough to write Maud's personalityA very... foreshadowing start. I can't help but think something will happen to Maud in one way or another

Yeah, Somnambula's home town is named in her honour, apparently. I like to keep everything as close to the canon as possible, and according to the official map, the rock farm is right between there and Appleloosa. I hope more of those locations are touched on in the show.
And yeah, I remember reading in the comics that Maud feels as much as any other pony (perhaps more), but her biggest issue is that she doesn't know how to show it. In that sense, writing how she feels isn't so bad. But getting others to notice her emotions? That'll be the challenge.

Well, they're both minor characters. The focus will be you and Maud, the Tarsus-and-Straton storyline just kinda goes on in the background. There MIGHT be a fic if enough people ask for it, but since it's technically two males, I'm expecting it to be a rather niche thing, especially since it's a minotaur and a changeling.

Yeah, the main issue is that I've done so many fics at this point, I feel I need to make each scene special for each character. Maud seems like the reserved yet powerful type who'd be able to take a little rowdiness.

I, for one, would totally dig that. Second person m/m is something there is FAR too little of here.
So happy Maud went for it. I hate it when characters throw away opportunities for pride. It would be one thing if she didn’t deserve this but she does, Strategem was just an ass. No pun intended.
