Going off you saying that Spike is Crown Prince, I'm taking it as gratas that he is Celestia'son here.
In that instance, Let's face it, if Spike is going after Discord it won't be long till word reaches Celestia and Luna. Especially if the rumors/messages detail the state he's in after talking to Quill. I can't imagine that Celestia wouldn't at least try to talk to their son in that state (yet alone after she hears about what happened to Twilight) and can only guess what heartbreak she will feel when she see's him so cold; his kindness snuffed out.
As for Cadance (Princess 3). I'm sure word about the attack on Twilight would soon reach Shining Armor and Cadance in the Crystal Empire. As the Princess of Love I'm almost certain that she would easier be able to sense the lost love in Spike, and depending on how close they are in this, would have some feelings of pain at seeing him in the state he's in at the end of Chapter 1.

Also, because I feel guilty for leaving her out. Depending on the way you want to take Luna, I can either see her as broken up as Celestia as seeing Spike a hollow shell, maybe going so far as to even chase his dreams in an attempt to help to bring the old Spike back (even, in the end, pulling Twilight in (when she starts to dream again) to try to talk him out of it). Or supporting Spike in his dark mission, helping him along the way with intel from the shadows.
Like I said originally. She's a bit more of a wild card than the other Princesses.

oohhh this seems interesting. is discord truly behind it or merly framed. will spie keep his emotion chain up and let the cold fire burn. what has changed in the 200 years since the show.

Continue the story, but maybe put the beating before you take away discords magic and don't destroy the only thing Discord has to remember fluttershy, that's just Immature and petty.
The story so far is intriguing but you also have to remember that it is your story. If you have lost interest in it then you can leave it alone but I see where you are coming from. The simple idea of him making someone powerless and beating them to near death is a commonly used plot item and more often than naught the fault lies with the feeling of it being overdone and repeated. The idea you had started with is a solid one and has great potential. I think you should finish writing the story but if you need to rethink how you want the story to go if you are thinking about changing your mind. The story is entirely your own I just feel that you are having a moment where you are confused about something. from the teaser that you had released, you would be changing spikes personality drastically, which would seem out of character. I could picture you having spike look at discord and saying something along the lines of, "I only spare your life to let you live with the guilt that Fluttershy would be devastated knowing what you did to Twilight. Next time you come near Twilight you will regret ever knowing what friendship was and I will kill you so you can see Fluttershy again and understand how much she has lost faith in you. She trusted you and look what you did to a friend of hers. She has forgiven you for a lot but I have forgiven you for the last time, no more second chances." Then throw the Fluttershy related item at him.
