Extra 4: Mind Exchange part Final

Twilight in Rainbow’s body got to her castle after a short galloping, she really felt weird being so agile and light, somehow thinking that made her feel insulted in a way.

‘Maybe I’ll put those hay fries in check for a bit…’ she thought while passing by the library to leave Rainbow’s saddlebags. Then she went to her room to tell Flan about Rainbow being in her body.

When she got there, she didn’t find Flan in there, her bed was messy like somepony slept on it, but there wasn’t any sign of the vampony anywhere. Confused she went to the kitchen just out of curiosity, ‘maybe she woke up for a snack?’ she thought in her way there, suddenly a strange smell invaded her nostrils, along with hearing Spike’s voice.

“Alright here you go Flan, it’s the first time I cook this kind of stuff so I hope it’s not too bad.” Spike said.

Twilight got in the kitchen and saw Flan in her body sitting at the table with a plate in front of her with something she couldn’t recognize from that angle; Spike was wearing a pink apron and a chef hat.

“Oh, hi Rainbow, how’s it going?” Spike greeted and Flan just waved at her.

“Spike, how did you know she was Flan? And what is that smell?” Twilight said while waving the smell away with a hoof, forgetting she was in Rainbow’s body.

Flan looked at her with a raised eye brow.

“She told me something weird happened with Twilight and she ended in her body and vice versa, and this is a stea… eh… umm… something I don’t know the name of… (genius!)” Spike did a mental fist pump, but noticed something strange, “say, how did you know that she is Flan did Twilight told you?”

“Spike, ‘I’ am’ Twilight, something mysterious happened again Rainbow crashed into me when I was outside and somehow we exchanged bodies,” she explained which got an ‘oh…’ from Spike, Flan heard everything but didn’t show any real emotion instead she started eating… “Wait, is that meat?” Flan nodded, Twilight started to feel sick, “where did you get that anyway?”

Flan wrote something in her chalkboard and showed it to Twilight, “Don’t worry it looks, smells and tastes like meat, but it’s not real meat, it’s just tofu with some spices and a special flavoring.”

“Alright, that makes sense I suppose, but why?” Twilight asked.

Then a weird explanation of how ponies can’t process meat very well took place and because Flan just felt like having some, also Spike was curious about the taste. Twilight gave him a disappointed look, Spike just stared sheepishly.

After the not so conventional dish, Twilight asked Flan to go look out for Rainbow because she didn’t feel too comfortable with all the ‘super excitable mare in an all mighty vampire body’ business.

Flan responded by rolling her eyes and giving Twilight an unimpressed stare, but she reluctantly went with her.

Meanwhile Rainbow in Flan’s body was in the hills trying to do… something.

But a certain something was making it difficult for her.

“How does Flan fly with these things? I know she doesn’t flap them to fly, but how does it work?” Rainbow asked to herself while wiping some sweat from her forehead. “Also how is her body this warm? It wasn’t that hot when I was in my body.”

It would’ve been more comfortable for her to have the hat Rarity gave to Flan, but it got lost after the crash, and oh boy somepony wasn’t going to be happy with that.

Looking around Twilight and Flan were walking through Ponyville, and then Flan remembered something.

Writing something in her chalkboard she levitated it in front of Twilight for her to read, “Did you take my hat before going out? If so, does Rainbow have it?”

“Yes I took the hat like your note said, but…” Twilight paused for a moment, “I kind of… lost it? When Rainbow crashed onto me.” She said sheepishly.

Flan just frowned at her, and then teleported the hat onto her head.

Twilight stared in disbelief, “wha… how did you…”

Flan showed her the chalkboard again, “it’s my hat and a gift from a friend, I know where it always is,” and then trotted away, all of that without looking at her.

“Flan wait! I’m sorry!” Twilight went after her.

Flan ignored her, but she was just toying with Twilight, when Flan told her that everything was forgiven with a mocking face, Twilight expended the next ten minutes pouting.

After another thirty minutes of searching, because Flan wasn’t really looking for Rainbow and was just taking a walk out of boredom, they went to the hills to look for her.

They found Flan’s body jumping and doing some unorthodox stuff like climbing into trees hang out of a branch, flap her wings and then let go, which ended just like everypony thought it would end, hitting the ground with an audible ‘uff.’

Approaching the defeated mare in an all powerful vampire body, Twilight said, “Rainbow, what are you doing?”

“Trying to figure out how to fly on Flan’s body, but I can’t nail it down and it’s too hot to think clearly,” Rainbow said without getting up.

“But Flan doesn’t need to flap her wings to…” Twilight began.

“I know! But I couldn’t think of anything else,” Rainbow said cutting her out.

Then a chalkboard in reddish purple magic was shoved on her face, “the academy has a class that teaches how to fly without the use of wings you know.”

“What? Really?” Rainbow asked.

Flan rolled her eyes and teleported the book that she had with her a few hours prior to all this situation happened.

She searched a certain page, read it looked at the other two, closed her eyes, did a back flip then a spinning motion with her left hoof and clapped her hooves twice.

A flash blind the other two, and a weird feeling of being pulled was felt from them, moments later the light ceased to exist.

Twilight felt a hat on her head, one which was quickly snatched away by a tiny hand.

“What happened?” She asked in her normal voice while she could see Rainbow’s and Flan’s bodies, which meant… “I’m me again!” she shouted with glee without knowing her magic was still holding the book which now was launched into the air and struck Rainbow who was dizzy on the head and knocked her out.

“Sorry Rainbow…” Twilight apologized and levitated the book again, “there’s incredible power inside this book, I have to study this deeply, Equestria could benefit from this knowledge,” she said that in a way that make it look like she was more interested in learn it herself, this self state of glee and pleasure was cut short when the book suddenly exploded and not even ashes were left.

“Eh?” then a very shocking realization struck her, the feeling made her nervous and started to sweat, slowly very very slowlyshe shifted her vision towards the little thing that was now her normal vampiric self. What she saw wasn’t good, she saw a very displeased and rather mad Flan staring at her with her arms crossed, “hey Flan… you know… em… I have a little something I need to attend to… so I’ll see you la-“

*Chomp*

Twilight has been broken.

No, they're not OCs, the Scarlet sisters are from Touhou, which can be resumed as the world with total lack of common sense, there are a lot of characters with absurd abilities in there.

The story is not meant to be taken seriously (at least most of it), because there's a clear gap between the ponies and Flan's power. In fact Flan's power is downgraded quite a bit on this, and her personality is a little different too.

A clear sign is Twilight being "broken" a lot and just showing slights amounts of damage on her body that doesn't really hinders her from trying to complete her task.

The intention there was something like simulating a hostage situation, kind of like "if you don't do as I say, I'll hurt the hostages and it will be your fault."

Twilight was a little nuts by that point so she unintentionally would have done something dumb just to get Flan to listen to her and therefore finish her task.

Maybe, but I didn't really wanted to drag the plot anymore, I could have done something else sure, but I didn't feel like doing so.

But hey, at least I got some will power to expand it some with a sequel, I just hope not to screw that one over

That is basically because Flan is not nerfed on them. Or at least not as much as in the main story.

That and the situations portrayed are just silly scenarios with no context whatsoever.
