Needs srs edit sweep, but a nice story and nice concept.
Interesting enough but I felt that it was a bit mellow. It lacked any real emotional punch. I didn't have enough time to get invested in either character and when they fell in love it seemed sudden and awkward to me. It's alright, but it could have been much better with more time to develop the characters and their relationship.
Full review here, but in brief: the plot is about as predictable as "odd couple" shipfics get, but the pairing is interesting and "mournful song of pain, death, and lunch" is a fantastic line. Should not be rated E, though -- works with even one f-bomb cannot be.
