I already have a sequel in the works, but it takes place after the survivors arrive. There is actually an epilogue to Fallen, which I'll post later today after I've gotten someone to proofread.
I didn't consider writing a story of the journey to the light, but now that I think about it, I could put a couple of flashbacks in, in a similiar style to what I've done with this story.

I heartily approve of a sequel. Though if I may, perhaps simply 'Dawn' rather than 'Dawnshine' would be both more parsimonious and more fitting?
986036 It's intended to be similar to Twilight Sparkle, which will probably be mentioned in said sequel, as well as the reasoning behind it.
(I put it into one word rather than two because it sounded odd to me [and the person I asked] as two words)
